Another European hit crossing over: #1 in Germany and the Czech Republic, plus top-ten peaks in Australia, Belgium, Italy, and Switzerland. Signed to Columbia here, this goes for pop adds March 31, according to FMQB.

Yay! I hope this finds some success in the US too and, as a side note, this could lead to finally unblock the music video in my country

This will be his first hit in UK .getting heavy airplay and big sales for pre order . He has had huge hits in Europe , especially France and Germany , but first time in UK . If he can crack US as well he will be a happy chappy in 2015 ! .

And the UK could be added to Marlon's top-ten peaks around the world, since it debuts at #7 there this week.

Well, this is not yet on the south of europe (not in Portugal, not in Spain either).
At first listen i kind of like it. It has some atmostpheric sound that it's hipnotic, and this kind of songs usually grows with every listen

The Dave Audé mix is the most radio-friendly. It's the mix I hear on Dance Factory Radio in suburban Chicago, and I hope it's the mix Top 40 stations play, like how the Mike D remix was the radio mix for Gotye's smash. The original mix is just too slow.

I like it too. I'm very surprised (in a good way) that this is taking off in the US so far. It's very European.

He seems super cool. 1) I had no idea he used to be part of Mattafix. Their song "Big City Life" was HUGE in Europe back in the day, so he's already had one foot in the door as a soloist. 2) The Caribbean influence was too subtle for me to detect at first, but now that he's mentioned it, it's sooo obvious. 3) He grew down the street from my former neighborhood in London :o

I was wondering too. This pulled in some top tier stations a month ago then did nothing it seems.

I think it was at #51 at one point too. I was hoping it would slide into the top 50 this morning. Based on quick cut data, it has at least 373 spins with LA at the top of the list. Hopefully it can do something.

Sometimes it's very difficult to understand why some songs become hits and other don't. This failed in USA and was a decent hit in some european countries, and then you have something like Cheerleader (which with all respect is very very far from having the same quality) became a hit everywhere.
