Does anyone know if she ever performed "Forever and for Always" in Vegas? I couldn't help but notice it was the only big hit missing from the DVD/CD. I would've rather her include that song than "Today Is Your Day".

I think it was concluded she left it out of the Vegas setlist because of the personal connection it had with Mutt. Will be interesting to see if she performs it on tour or not.

I always felt like, "You're Still The One," was Shania's and Mutt's song. When the divorce happened, I actually wondered if she would ever sing YSTO live again.

I definitely agree that it would've been great for the campfire segment of her show. That's how I imagined it. I also felt like "No One Needs to Know" would've been great for that part of the show, and one of the up-tempos that she did acoustic versions of ("Rock This Country!" or "Love Gets Me Every Time") could've been done separately in their original form.

FAFA is a song that was her most successful off of UP so very odd the choice she made in leaving it off.

According to fans who attended the final Vegas show she sang a few lines of FAFA around the campfire a(a fan requested it, I belive)
. Everyone cheered, and she said, "Hmmm...Maybe I should add that one to the setlist."

It would be a shame if she opted against performing "You're Still The One" live since that one is so nostalgic to me, but I understand the connection with her former husband and not wanting to revisit that.

I got the CD/DVD last week but I finally watched it tonight. Man I love this woman. I'm so looking forward to seeing her on June. Her Vegas show was fantastic, and I'm sure that her tour will be just as good.

According to this post, Matthew Koma is one person working on Shania's new album. Source. For those who do not know, Shania is a HUGE fan of Matthew. He plays, sings, writes, and produces. It's not clear whether he is one of the producers, but from the interview it surely sounds like he is involved. His "hint" actually confirms the fact that there WILL indeed be a new album on the horizon.

Looks like the "RTC Tour" has been extended. No Europe yet though, it seems...

It's sad that this will be her last tour.

It would be nice to see her do another leg for international fans outside of North America. I can see why so many of them were upset on Facebook, since this is supposedly her last tour.
Speaking of it being her last tour, do any of you guys actually believe it? I personally do, but I'm just asking because a few of my friends/co-worker said "artists always say that and then they go on tour again."

Many artists have said it in the past and went back out on the road. In Shania's case, however, I do believe it is true. Her number one priority is her family, then her recording career, touring comes very last. With Shania, I have always seen her road shows as a luxury for the fans. In that, she toured LONG before she ever was a major label artist...and that pre-major label career touring was constant, nearly non-stop. In her Oprah series she said that when she first got signed, one of the last things she ever wanted to do was go out on the road. While not touring for The Woman In Me album, may have been to the benefit of the fans (in her eyes - because we didn't have a lot of hits from her) I'm sure it also had to do with the fact that between the age of 8 and 28 she toured mostly on a day to day basis, in addition to caring for her family alone. So, before we ever knew of Shania, she was playing shows and touring a lot, but not as "Shania." We just are now getting the "Shania shows." So, yes, to answer your question...it is said a lot that artists go back out on tour after a "farewell tour", but again, in this case; I feel the tour will be the last. That being said, I do not think she is done performing. She may think she is, but I can see her becoming re-energized so that she can promote the new album with televised performances (ACMS, Good Morning America, etc). She DID do that for The Woman In Me. If she truly wants to make albums for the rest of her career, like she said on the tour announcement pres run, then small performances are the best way to promote albums. Especially nowadays. Tour wise: this is it.

She can put on the same show night after night to new and adoring fans and never has to travel. She is the perfect fit for Vegas because to this day, she still appeals to both men, women, young (though maybe not as young as she used to) and old.

I just posted a similar comment on her website to Eurpoean fans. A lot of people keep bringing up the fact that there are no European, Australian, or Brazilian dates. I do not know how much choice an artist has of the locations in which they want to play. Can anyone on Pulse provide more details on that? I will say that in a recent Canadian interview on a morning show she was somewhat asked about the exclusion of those territories and she said that she will "at least start in America and Canada." So, that leads me to believe that more dates will be announced for a third and possibly fourth leg which would consist of dates in the desired areas. Plus, when she made the second leg announcement the other day, an Australian fan posted on Twitter that they got a reply from Shania stating that "she would love to play there." Don't you think that if she would love to play there again, dates in Australia would happen...in addition to Europe?
I would provide the source to the video, but I cannot remember where exactly that it was I heard her say that...but she DID say it. If I have to hunt for that video I will.

I can partially answer your question. Yes, there are times that an artist is contractually forbidden from performing in certain countries. Shania is a prime example. Her contract with Caesar's Entertainment forbade her from performing in the United States; hence why she did a few shows last summer in Canada. Generally, I would imagine, there is no financial benefit to go into a country to perform without having a new record to sell. You rarely will see an artist leave the US unless they are fresh off a record release, see Swift, Taylor or Urban, Keith. PS: Her Twitter is not run personally by her. I believe she does send some stuff to be posted, but it's 99% an assistant, and of course her people are never going to deny wanting to play some where. I have no reason to believe that her tour will leave North America until or if she gets an album out.

I have no reason to believe that her tour will leave North America until or if she gets an album out. Thank you for clarifying. I appreciate that. I knew that her contract with Caesars prohibited US performances while under their eye. I do find it odd that Mariah (who is now under a Caesars Entertainment contract) is performing at this year's Billboard Awards. It used to be that artists could present and make appearances at US award shows for ticket-generating purposes but the performance factor was either screened in from The Colosseum (if they had been running for a year or so)... or they just did not perform. To me, Mariah's residency (which started this week) is all too new to be previewing elements to the general public via TV, if they are doing it that way. I realize things can change over time but if she is going to be at the MGM, it seems unfair to previous residents who could have performed. Caesars has always said that residency shows were exclusive to the die-hards. Anyway, I am skewing from Shania...which is odd because (don't hate me) but I can't stand Mariah. She is talented, but does nothing for me. Back to the point, International fans would be at a great disadvantage if Shania indeed does not add dates in other territories beside the US/Canada. The waiting game to see dates has to be sickening to many. There are a ton of fans in Europe, Asia, Australia, etc... She's played there before, so I don't entirely understand her reservations, if any. The original shows between June-August were understandable because they worked around her son's school schedule, and these fall dates would conflict with her personal priorities. I do hope that fans in other countries can see her in their home towns, because I have many Shania friends who are greatly disappointed. Some are spending thousands to catch a show in North America, but for every other international fan, that is incredibly hard to do. Nevertheless, I am entirely grateful that she is touring one last time. And, I consider myself lucky to have gotten tickets. Several Canadian dates are sold out and luckily being in the US, there are more dates. So, my area shows did not sell out as fast, but some have. Again, seeing Shania live, is a luxury for fans. I am going to take every moment in. I am sure others will do the same.

New Shania interview from Time: time.com/3897884/shania-twain-final-concert-tour-interview/Glad to hear that the songs will be in their full-band form. Also glad to see she might include new material towards the end of the tour. It does sound like the album is getting closer. And...she will be performing "Party For Two." I wonder if the opener will come out for that.

I'm glad that she seems so intent on actually releasing new music this time. I'm very intrigued to hear what the new stuff will sound like and how radio-friendly it will be.
