"Centuries" (12-9). Fall Out Boy's 2nd top 10. It's been 9 years since they first did with "Sugar, We're Going Down". I had to look into this one just to see the extent of this for myself. (Which means most of what I found was from BB Adult Top 40, but still.) Staggering at just how much their CHR success has, relatively, not extended to HAC. BTW, it looks like this is a new career high for them here? Pop Radio Top 20 has "Sugar" as peaking at 10...

Well! Since "Centuries" is now eligible for recurrency once it drops below #10, it looks like that's going to be their longest-charter, too (their first to go 20 weeks-plus). Who knew this was going to happen?

Thanks to HAC panel changes, the recent #1 songs have been setting spin records. The current #1 is nearly 7300 spins, a far cry from just 5 years ago this week when the #1 song had just under 4200.

Is it just me or are the audience numbers for AC particularly after the Top 6, extremely low? I mean we have songs in the top 20 with less than 1MM audience! That's crazy! I wonder if the recurrent rule needs to be changed because plenty of songs are being played heavily but get purged. It does feel like something is missing.

Had Ed not returned to the penthouse, I do believe this would've been the first time that two songs each hit #1 both here and on Pop, but in reversed order.
That said, since I've never been terribly fond of "Uptown Funk", Ed returning to the top doesn't bother me all that much. :)
