Growing up, until I was a little over 18, almost 100% of my music listening were from classic artists/bands. What songs/artists did you love hearing/singing growing up as a kid?
For example, a few of my favorites growing up include:
"Children of the Sun" by Billy Thorpe "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles "Rock On" by David Essex "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple "Cats in the Cradle" by Harry Chapin "Southern Cross" by Crosby, Stills, and Nash "Love Hurts" by Nazareth "867-5309" by Tommy Tutone "Roxanne" and "Walking on the Moon" both by The Police "Hotel California" by The Eagles "Tusk" by Fleetwood Mac ("USC MARCHING BAND! And we're not done yet!") "Ballroom Blitz" by Sweet "Low Rider" by War
Also, I like a lot of songs from The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Bon Jovi, Mariah Carey, Peter Frampton, and The Destroyers.
