I don't live in the US, but one of my pop stations already added this and is charting James Bay's "Hold Back the River" in their top 20. That says it all right there.

In other news, am I the only one who thinks the vocals sound like Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic?

The lyrics are absolutely meaningless but it gets stuck in your head. I mean, the first part of the song is kind of wild west vibe-y...and then "all hail the outlaws, Spielbergs and Kubricks"? What?

I don't think anything is going to stop this from #1. The question now moves to how long it will spend at the top, which I think depends on how fast Tear In My Heart continues to rise.

Wow, radio is really eating this up. This could very well dethrone Muse in a few weeks' time.

Look at that payola. Seriously, it's like "Royals" all over again.

Look at that payola. Seriously, it's like "Royals" all over again. Royals had a more consistent, gradual rise, it was never like +300 all the way through. This is the most out of control payola since Staind's "Believe" IMO

I feel like I hear this song on the radio a lot but it's so bland and forgettable that my mind just zones out whenever it comes on.

This is the most out of control payola since Staind's "Believe" IMO I'm not too sure about that. I know it exploded into the Top 20, and even when it was Top 5 it was sporting a +200-300 bullet.

I don't think payola was as big a factor as it is for this.

The saddest part about this song's climb; besides that it bites a big one,is that, this will the song; that most likely dethrones, "Dead Inside" >

I have to admit. I LOVE the band, and want them to get craploads of attention, but I'm pretty meh on the song, and wish they broke with something else. Gimme "Litost" or "Falls" from their old album or even wish "Jungle" went higher

You have something common with Cody, whose worst song if Blurred Lines IIRC. " Blurred Lines Shake It Off" deserves to be on everyone's worst Top 5 ever. ;) Fixed that for you. Sorry to bump this because someone likes to save this song in the DZ games so I just cannot resist.

just looked at kworb and this is at #3 already? whoa
like I get the otv deal but still this is fast
not complaining though since I like the song (even if it's already kind of burning on me) but damn
anyways betting that this becomes a decent pop crossover hit and/or it spends an eternity on the alt chart
