I don't know why people are expecting it to say "remix" on the poster. It's not very often new versions of songs with added people are labeled as remixes to begin with. They usually just say the featured artist. And we know already that they have been keeping who that artist is a secret for a while now. We know a remix does exist, and we have strong evidence that the remix features someone. With how secretive Taylor is being about details this era, it would not shock me to not find out who it is until the video premiere.

Hopefully they won't upload the video to Vevo/YouTube until midnight for max streaming points.. Gonna be a fight to the death between Britney and Taylor lol

I'm gonna assume ITunes release of Bad Blood remix during or after the show.

What is the strong evidence of a remix? An unnamed "insider source"? How do we know there's a feature? And if it was a big named why wouldn't they use it as part of the promotion?

What is the strong evidence of a remix? An unnamed "insider source"? How do we know there's a feature? And if it was a big named why wouldn't they use it as part of the promotion? Take a look through the thread, there's countless sources claiming a remix. There were also multiple sources claiming someone is featured on the remix. And I already explained why they wouldn't use it as part of the promotion. The secret thing is kind of a big deal to Taylor as we've seen so many things from not only this era, but several eras past all be secretive until the release.

Oooohhhh Joseph Kahn directed the video. He's my favorite director. If anything could turn my views in favor of this song, it would be one of his videos.

What is the strong evidence of a remix? An unnamed "insider source"? How do we know there's a feature? And if it was a big named why wouldn't they use it as part of the promotion? The "strong evidence" of a remix (just a remix - not the feature) is the same reason any of us knew Bad Blood was the single - or that the video with all those celebs was the Bad Blood video: the Republic Playbook listing. That's a site meant to be consumed by radio professionals - Republic will change dates and plans, but it is not going to troll/spread false rumors. I'm not saying it's impossible that Republic is ultimately going with the regular version of "Bad Blood," but it wouldn't have alluded to a Bad Blood remix if none existed. Regarding the feature - I could be wrong, but I thought the "insider source" was a very much named, confirmed radio employee who posted the note on his Twitter? While your last question is reasonable, Taylor is big enough--and newsworthy enough--to get away with surprises.

He's not someone who gets named a lot like a Toby Knapp or Kid Kelly (I think he's actually around my age), but he works for CBS Radio's CHR/HAC affiliates in San Francisco and I have no reason not to trust him, haha.

BRB googling Lily Aldridge. Yeah - couldn't tell if it was a fake name or what. Not really keeping up on plastic models.

If there wasn't a remix being released as the single CHR would absolutely be spinning this by now. But they've clearly been informed to wait for the remix.

Ok thanks for the info. It just seems odd that all this time has passed and it's unclear what is going on. My opinion is as soon as the previous single peaks the next one should be on its way. Is there a big celebrity feature? I'll be impressed and surprised, if so, that they kept it from leaking.
And a few stations have already added this song though I suppose that's a small amount. I just assumed that with the later add date most stations wouldn't jump on it too early. its still a few weeks away.

We believe it's Kendrick Lamar He said he recorded something with Taylor in a interview, and also, he was spotted (is this well-said?) in the studio when the video was been filmed along with the other co-stars.

I just hope that they don't go way overbudget with Bad Blood so the next single (Ideally OOTW) wouldn't get a low budget and uninspired video.

If Taylor release the remix of Bad Blood in iTunes the same day the video premieres it would get Top 10 instantly.

Zendaya has a fanbase? Lol.
If the "17 stars" rumor is true, she should continue to post about two or so of these a day.
She also has 3 other looks, so that's two more posters from her alone, I'd say! Yes queen, get that hype.

I bet, the last one she post is "meet Kendrick! my featuring!"

On one hand, it hurts my heart that "Style" didn't get all this budget/attention/effort.
On the other hand, it's a smart move to create this much hype for a 4th single. Instead of letting the era stall/sputter, it feels like it's starting anew. Hopefully this means we'll get at least 5-6+ singles overall.
I know the TD comparisons are overdone, but this does remind me of the rollout for LFN and how thoroughly impressed I was with the marketing that went towards a 5th single.

Style might have also been the casualty we needed to get this type of single/video. If Style hits #1 on the Hot 100 with THAT video and THAT lack of promotion, maybe the label doesn't think it needs to push single four with this much aggression.

Which they've never, ever, EVER done before. Taylor's eras are heavily front loaded and usually died after the second single and when the tour starts. It's a good sign that they'll probably continue pushing it until the fall. Hopefully the next single gets an actual video too and not a tour video which they've done for every era so far except for her debut.
