Ugh. "Bad Dud" is the second worst next to "Welcome to Oklahoma"
But all will be forgiven if the video is Mean Girls themed. Taygina George please.

hmmmm why are you suggesting Katy as a collaborator on this? did they end their feud already? I don't know who you were directing this question to, but if you're asking me, it's because IMO, Katy and Taylor on the same track, especially this one, would be absolutely amazing.

The song will actually slay, hopefully she will promote this more than "Style". But still, her world tour will be playing at that time of the year so, I'm afraid this won't be promoted. It has a sick beat and although I like Calvin more than Kanye and Kendrick, I think a rap verse would be better than a dance remix of it.

Please do not compare one of Lorde's best tracks, "Glory and Gore", to this Target-edition-level song. Thank you.

Yep there are rumors of Cher Lloyd being on the remix. It seems everyone forgets that Taylor had Cher Lloyd as a special guest during The Red Tour back in 2013. Whoever it is on the remix,It will be amazing and Taylor likes to surprise people. The last time Taylor did a song with a rapper was B.O.B back in 2012 with "Both Of Us" and I'm sure if the remix features a rapper,It would be much better than that. If there is a place for Taylor to perform this,It would be the Billboard Music Awards,It is 2 days before the impact date and that could give it a huge boost to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart.

hmmmm why are you suggesting Katy as a collaborator on this? did they end their feud already? Because it would be really funny. I think noone of them confirmed the feud, and the level of publicity would be incredible. Taylor has so many high profile friends that she would have material for two duets albums. Like some people said before, if she released Anything has changed now, i'm pretty sure it would perform way better than when it was released (she has a good eye to predict who other singers are going to be stars in a near future)

This song has all of the makings of a summer hit. Could even be song of the summer depending on how the remix turns out.

Back to the topic, this should so well, maybe #1, and then "Out Of The Woods" right after this!

I'm the only one who loves this song? This is my second favorite song of disc (behind Blank Space, a marterpiece). I'm so happy for this being a single but I don't want a remix which change fully the song, a remix with a style based on the remix of E.T. or even S&M is a better option. And I don't have idea of the featuring, but I don't think a rapper could help to the song. I need more details, I'M SO EXCITED!!

Contender for song of the summer, especially if the remix is hot.

I'm the only one who loves this song? No, I also love this one and think its much better than OOTW's repetitive ass. I agree, a remix is totally pointless, a rapper wont add anything to the song.

I'm laughing that y'all think this isn't going to smash. You just wait. The flow on this is HOT....and I'm not even a big Taylor fan! Hold the reply for when this can't even hit what Style did. You mean, this has a possibility of not going #1? OMG!!!! HOW TRAGIC! I have news for you, besides New Romantics, I don't see any other track off 1989 having easy #1 potential.

The perspective regarding this song is baffling.
It's a RADIO SINGLE. Save for a change of pace ballad here or there, radio singles are supposed to be the lighter, more accessible songs on the album. Why are we acting like this is some unique phenomenon? Why are we acting like it isn't something Taylor Swift herself has been doing since 2006?
It's particularly weird within the context of this album. "1989" is a mainstream pop album with unabashed pop songs that were engineered to be accessible -- and thus become big mainstream hits (this is Taylor's "become the biggest superstar in the world" album - it is not her "prove I'm the most alternative and artistic person in the world" album). "Shake it Off" - how is that anymore "artistic" than Bad Blood? If you didn't focus on a connection between "Style" and Harry STYLEs there would be nothing uniquely "Taylor" about that song. Even Blank Space, which many see as the strongest, most specific song on the album, is still an accessible mainstream pop song without the narrative or level of detail she'd previously included in her songwriting.
The previous three singles were all songs designed to be hits. So is Bad Blood.
I've never been a huge fan of Bad Blood, and I agree that it's one of the album's weak spots creatively. But has there ever been doubt that it's one of the most radio-oriented, mainstream songs (aka - singles) on the album? And when you consider the fact that it has sold considerably better than the other album tracks, has the buzz over Katy Perry and lends itself to a kicka$$ remix, this release is a no-brainer.

I would diiiiiie if this had Cher Lloyd on it. Her most recent album was tragically ignored and quite good. But let's be honest, this has to be Kanye. We know they worked together and the theme of the song fits with their past. It couldn't be more perfect.
