Looks like this one his been dropping down the chart ever since it debuted? Now that you said that, it regained its bullet. 36 38 BLEACHERS Like A River Runs 282 272 10 0.513 Also, Sia's cover of this is #87 on iTunes.

Yeah, probably, it had another good update today.
The new version (the 2015 rework) is #225 on iTunes right now and is under Hot Tracks. EDIT: Wow, it's been pretty stable on iTunes since the release of the EP. Maybe this will be the single to finally break them into the mainstream.

They already did that with "I Wanna Get Better", unless by mainstream you mean CHR. One of the problems is the band's frontman is a bit of a dou*he.

I don't think Shadow would be as radio friendly as this.
I'm unfortunately thinking this is the case of KONGOS again (or more fittingly, the Neighbourhood, as Rollercoaster was bigger than I'm Only Joking.) I'm disappointed in its run so far, but I'm not surprised.

I don't know why people wanted "Shadow" as a single. That didn't sound radio friendly at all to me. This was a clearer choice, but I too am surprised at how much it's flopping. I guess many indie acts can't really obtain extended single eras.

There are so many of them, I think it has to do with struggling to pit 3rd singles against so many lead and 2nd singles, which generally get better promotion. Jusy my opinion, anyway.

He also slammed Justin Bieber, who I guess you're a fan of. And U2 is overplayed big time. MTV and TRL in 2000 gave them too much exposure with their comeback that their lead vocalist got a ego. Nickleback is considered to be the "gayest" rock band by most guys today. I don't even like those three acts. Meanwhile Bleachers lead singer Jack Anatoff props up Taylor Swift, dresses like Justin Bieber, goes to a (possibly black)barber to get his hair cut, and has to make a mastercard commercial with his band to promote themselves.

Nickleback is the "gayest" rock band? So does that mean they're more homosexual than any other band? Maybe you should edit that sentence to something less offensive. 2. How does going to a "possibly black barber" say anything about Jack Anatoff? Should someone be embarrassed for using a black barber? Again, maybe you should edit that sentence as well to something less offensive.

Jack Antonoff is friends with other popular musicians, gets haircuts and uses commercial sources to promote his band? How heinous! Burn him at the stake before he can offend anyone else! I don't see why any of those things classify him as a douche, it just seems like you have some sort of personal vendetta against him.

I love it when people who don't post often come and post stuff like this, because it really gives us regulars a good sense of who the trolls are. Also, this is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read.

I think this poster is a struggling Barber looking for clients or maybe just wants to secretly promote Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift on The Alt?Active rock/AAA forum?

Is it true that Nickelback is doing a cover of YMCA by Village People? Yeah. It's featuring Lance Bass as well.

So Chad Kroeger was actually singing about dudes in homosexual anthems "Animals", "S.E.X", and "Something In Your Mouth"?

Nickelback is one of the LEAST gay bands around, & one of the LEAST talented (imo)
what's w/ all the usage of the word "gay" to mean crap? Freddy Mercury & Michael Stipe (among others) prove the opposite is true

It sucks that this barely did anything here.
Anyway, bumping this thread up only because of Sia's cover of this particular track.
Included in Terrible Thrills, Vol. 2 (an all-female cover of the band's debut album Strange Desire).
