My brother texted me about how much he loves this song. He never texts me anything.

This is a hit. With that great remix being hot right now too, it's important to push this strong now. Get him on some TV slots. Sit him down with a guitar, market him as a heartthrob. #savemikeposner

Oh... this is nothing like what I was expecting given the title and his musical history. This is... gorgeous! The remix is surprisingly good as well!
"I'm just a singer who already blew his shot. I get along with old timers 'cuz my name's a reminder of a pop song people forgot." Shit. :o

If Ed Sheeran featured on a Tropical House track...it would sound 90-95% like the remix for this.
Sounds like a hit though, can see this getting good play when Spring takes off.

Wow a few days ago this wasn't even top 200 on Spotify US, yesterday was just right outside the top 100 and it now appears at #59?! :o

Just for reference here are two tropical house remixes of Ed Sheeran songs... https%3A//soundcloud.com/edsheeran/photograph-felix-jaehn-remixhttps%3A//soundcloud.com/kygo/ed-sheeran-i-see-fire-kygo

I don't know if it'll become a hit, but it's a nice change of pace, and it could put him in the map again

I'm already hearing this everywhere and talked about by diverse types of people. I still think this would have done nothing in its original form, but thanks to the remix this is going to be massive. Top 5 on the Hot 100 massive.

With how great it's performing so "early" into its run with zero pre-release hype, dare I say this becomes as big as the likes of Get Lucky, Blurred Lines, Uptown Funk, etc. Its early tracking in sales and airplay is suggesting a run similar to those!

#12 on Bubbling under this week, currently #55 on iTunes Good chance it debuts next week, I'd assume? Seems to be climbing on streaming, radio and sales pretty steadily.

I'm surprised the remix is doing better than the original as it's kinda generic. It's not like Cheerleader where the remix was way better than the original and sounded like a hit.

Both version are equally great. Me personally would've prefer slower version as it has more soul on it. Sadly, remix is the one that bring him back to pop music scene and people are going to remember that version plus radio won't touch the original as for sure.
The original version did make an appearance on the bottom part of iTunes chart. Currently sitting at #1314.

He never even put out another album yet, just a few singles that didn't click but I don't remember too much promotion to begin with. That's exactly the reason why this could be one of the strangest come backs. His career as singer (as writer he is doing quite well) seemed pretty much done. Cooler than me was a big hit, Please don't go did well too, since that he make practically zero impact. His career as a singer is in danger since Looks like sex flopped. It's not like he dissapeared from the map made top 50 in 2014, but it looked like he was only able to have song that marginally charted on radio with zero impact on the hot 100, and this looks at least like a minor legitimate hit (in the worst case scenario), it will be top 40 on radio for sure, and it will chart on the hot 100. It will be a surprise resurrection of his career, i don't think nobody expected to see him again in the charts, it will be something similar to Taio Cruz, Iyaz or Jay Sean getting another hit

It doesn't seem like a strange comeback to me since he hasn't really done much in the time that has gone by. Maybe if he put out like 3 albums and flopped but this is from his next album lol.
