Jess Glynne is a British singer and songwriter, who is known for featuring on the UK #1 hits "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit and "My Love" by Route 94. Also, the former won in the Best Dance Recording category at the 2015 Grammy Awards. So far, she has released two solo singles. Those are "Right Here", which was produced by Gorgon City and reached at #6 in the UK, and her latest one "Hold My Hand", which was produced by Jack Patterson (a member of Clean Bandit) and reached atop there, being at that spot for three weeks in a row. Also, she had a new collaboration with Clean Bandit called "Real Love", which peaked at #2 too. She talked to Billboard about her experience at Coachella, where she performed "Right Here" on Gorgon City's set, and she mentioned that her album 'is finished and ready to go'. Also, she's planning to release an EP in the States (I guess it's North America) as a way to introduce herself properly to the market and then, the album will be out. Describing it, she said that it's a soulful and happy album and it comes from where she was inspired from a kid to now. There's still no information when her debut album will be out, but Amazon UK is listing it for a June 29 release, which may or may not be the final release date.

Jess uploaded the photo above on Twitter, revealing a collaboration with Tinie Tempah, which is called "Not Letting Go" and it will be released mid June. Also, she has been posting some photos ( 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5) on Instagram with a countdown, which looks like it could be the artwork of her debut album.

The album cover is...not good, but this still on my must check out list this year.
I like Hold My Hand, but I hope most of the tracks aren't as basic.

LOL @ that cover. Is that basic jagged graphic supposed to represent crying? . I have only heard Rather Be once (in someone's car last month) and it was very good so I am intrigued.

I'm really glad Right Here is making the cut. Was worried it might have been cut since it came out a while back.

"Rather Be" and "Real Love", Jess' collaborations with Clean Bandit, as well as "Right Here" and the acoustic version of "My Love" are available as instant grats if the album is pre-ordered. Also, it has been confirmed that Emeli Sandé will be featured on "Saddest Vanilla" and the Route 94 version of "My Love" is indeed Route 94's single, where the credits has been changed on the tracklist.

i never commented on "why me" but on first listen it was absolute PERFECTION. i'm really feeling the acoustic version of "ain't got far to go" and can't wait to hear the studio version. "gave me something" lands pretty easily at the bottom of her collection for me, but even then, i was bopping at the end of the video.
i'm full stan mode and cannot wait for this to be released.

Debuts atop in the UK! From the Official Charts: She said the following to them: "I can't believe it. It’s just... wow! It genuinely hasn't sunk in yet – it really hasn't. It's the most insane feeling to have your whole album accepted by the British public.
To see how well it's been received is possibly one of the most overwhelming feelings I’ve ever had. I'm so proud and excited about this album – I love every song on it. The fact that people are buying it and loving it as well is like some insane dream!"
