For a fourth single this isn't struggling Yes, yes it is. A +7 with a bullet of only 62 in the 41-50 range is struggling for anything.

This is struggling and its sad because its one of her best. However, I get that fourth singles often do struggle unless you are Katy or Taylor right now lol. The cd is still selling steadily and her other duet is doing pretty well so its not like this will be career over if it fails.

I Love this song don't get me wrong but maybe something more upbeat may have been better for the Summer??? I LOVE "Bang Dem Sticks" or if they wanted a change in tempo 3 am is really good and has a different sound than her prior singles.
Isn't Charlie's latest a ballad to? Maybe that's not helping this single out either.

This is doing fairly well on HOT AC radio as opposed to Pop radio. I don't know why, but at least Meghan is on a format that is still supporting this.

Hopefully this song is a slow mover. It dosen't scream summer so maybe it will take a bit to hit. I mean her last 3 singles were so instant and upbeat so this probably needs a little time to get used to. I know John Legend had one of the biggest songs last year but he's not an instant pop staple. It's sales are holding up well so I'm crossing my fingers it will keep gaining even if it is at a slow pace.

I LOVE "Bang Dem Sticks" or if they wanted a change in tempo 3 am is really good and has a different sound than her prior singles. Isn't Charlie's latest a ballad to? Maybe that's not helping this single out either. Charlie's song is similar in some respects, but it's more fun, uptempo and pop friendly. It also sounds far more like "Meghan" than this song (which, while good, doesn't really fit with the rest of her album - the retro vibe is more understated, and there's none of the sass or wit in the lyrics). I understood and supported the strategy of going with this song and I'm not going to pretend otherwise, but I still feel like "Walkashame" (with "3AM" in second place and "Credit" as a dark horse) would have been a far stronger - and more on-brand - pop choice.

Absolutely incredible callout scores.
78.6 positive (by far the greatest), 7.1 negative (by far the lowest) and 71.4 net positive (by far the highest). And it's #7 for favorite score (26.5).
If this doesn't result in an airplay surge....I just don't know.

I see these scores, and I can't help but think... what the hell???
Like...these scores almost seem unnaturally great. The thing is though, it's not going to be one of those songs that pops in and then suddenly disappears (not unless it collapses, anyway), seeing as it comes in with 77.2% Familiarity.

I'm actually curious if anyone knows the last time a pop song was testing this well (with that much familiarity). I don't even think Blank Space started with #s like this.

Remember, this is a song that was number ONE for FOUR WEEKS in Australia.
The appeal is there. Radio just has to play it.

It wouldn't surprise me if it continued at this pace for a few more weeks and then surged in September once summer starts to end.

Just heard this on the radio for the first time.
The automated voice introduced it as "Her new song, Like I'm Gonna" *dead*

The only thing about the callout scores is that Mediabase has it at 77% familiarity, which is way higher than songs like Cool for the Summer and Should've Been Us that have craploads more AirPlay. Doesn't really make sense.

Well callout scores sure will readjust, Lips are moving had incredible callout scores the first time to low a lot in the next weeks.
Anyway, this song should be doing way better than it's doing right now. It's the fourth single, i know, but it's the fourth single for a very hot artist with previous hits and whose album continues to sell really well. And the song it's even selling quite well.
I could speculate that having two songs on the chart is damaging this, but the truth is Marvin Gaye is other shong which should be doing way better than it's doing on pop

"Marvin Gaye" is doing better than "Like I'm Gonna Lose You", but both have large bullets for that format. I don't know what to make out of LIGLY doing poorly on Pop radio.
