Not sure if a question like this has been asked recently, but I'm just curious what people have thought about music this decade

2012, but if I had to rank them:
1. 2012 2. 2011 3. 2013 4. 2014 5. 2015 6. 2010

Surprised by the 2012 love considering the overwhelming number of diva releases in 2011 and 2013.

Whatever year 'Sweet Nothing' came out and slayed my soul.
So 2012 apparently. The Lumineers, 'Somebody That I Used To Know', the American release of the Of Mice Monsters and Men debut, and 'Call Me Maybe' were also babies of 2012. Love.
Bon Iver's self-titled and Florence's 'Shake It Out' also came out the late Summer/Fall of 2011 but got a lot of play from me the year later.

Looked through my country albums in my music library and I think 2013 was the best year, followed by either 2011 or 2014.

2014 followed by 2013. Most of the music I listen to is brand new, or at least fairly new.
Actually, now that I think about it I think I like them in descending order from 2014 back. Haven't made up my mind about 2015 yet.

2012 does it for me as well, although I really liked last year as well.

the American release of the Of Mice and Men debut that was in 2010 Meant to type "Monsters". The literature nut in me always makes that typo.

Meant to type "Monsters". The literature nut in me always makes that typo. Of Mice & Men and Of Monsters & Men should both tour together. It'd be unique to say the least.

2011. It was a great year for pop music, considering Britney, Gaga, Kesha, Taylor, Katy, and Avril were all active.

2012-13 really felt like a return to form for top 40 radio (with 2012 being the slightly better year). Too bad things have mostly regressed to late-2000s levels (if not worse) since then.

1. 2012 2. 2014 3. 2010 4. 2013 5. 2011
I think that's it for now...2010 and 2013 may switch. Not including 2015 yet.
It's close between 2012 and 2014, but the former takes it just because so much good stuff came out. Born To Die, Good Kid, Channel ORANGE, Devotion, Red, Latch, Climax, Halcyon, Ceremonials kept enduring, Nicki Minaj, etc.
Overall, this decade is going well. Probably the strongest since the 80s.
