Completely killed "Be Alright" and "Break Free". DAMN! I hate I missed her when she came here in April. What is everyone's thoughts on her pushing another single from DW? As awful as this sounds Ariana's music hasn't been this anticipated since "Problem". Last night she showed a different side to her that people rarely see from pop stars and she's in a position to keep pushing DW at least through the summer. I say release "Be Alright" as some sort of tribute along with "One Last Time". IDK... I think Ariana is still not in the mind frame to promote anything heavily if at all, and I don't see the label investing a lot of money into an album that was pretty much finished before this so I don't know that it would be worth it. I also think there will be a warm reception waiting for her when she does return with a new single (IIRC a late 2017 album seemed to be the plan anyway?), so no point in rushing things. This summer will be a good opportunity for her to mentally regroup and really think about what she wants the direction for AG4 to be.

Yeah, as sad as it is, the album is done. I know they're only a little over a year old, but all three of the main possible singles are beginning to feel quite old and will probably suffer the same fate as Everday. Be Alright is very on trend but I don't think it stands out enough to be a hit. She should finish whatever remaining amount of tour dates left she feels comfortable doing, then take a few months off from public life. She deserves a break, and even though she looked fine yesterday, she should make sure she is 100% with her mental health and coming to terms with what happened before going back into promo mode. I think what will be most interesting will be what direction her music goes next. I hope she returns to her sounds a bit from Yours Truly, while still keeping the mainstream feel from My Everything. Or even a song like Dangerous Woma - completely different from anything she has ever done and a powerhouse chorus.

But she could switch it up a bit still.

Be Alright is one of my favorite songs she's ever done, so I'd be onboard with that as a single. That said, this era is 100% done.
The whole concert was really good, I'm glad it raised a lot of money.

Even if they keep the album as is, I'd actually be rather surprised if there wasn't at least one new song added as a nod to Manchester and her fans. And they hadn't announced any release dates or booked any promo as far as I know, so she can afford to take a step back and change more things if she wants to, without worrying about throwing herself off schedule.

Not really expecting a new album this year since she's touring through the end of September, and Scooter probably is aware that going up against Taylor Swift isn't the wisest thing.
Still think they should have done a rerelease with a new song in the spring, that's the missed opportunity.

I'm kinda sad to find out AG4 already exists. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the material for it gets scrapped, and they'll start from scratch. Imo, all eyes will be one her for a while and her perspective has changed since the tragedy. I think it might be her chance to become a household name if she matures her material and her image wisely.

After the attack first happened, I thought they might release "Thinking Bout You," which I always thought would be a decent era closer. ("BA" would fit the mood, but it's a little too upbeat.) That said, I think they won't release anything else because it would come across tacky if people thought she was capitalizing on it.
I wonder if goodwill towards her after this might benefit the next album though. Wasn't there talk of a new album this Fall?

She's younger than me. I can't fathom going through what she is right now, let alone getting back onstage without completely losing it. She's done what she needed to with this era. She needs to rest after the tour, and live her life for a bit. Because with the next era, so many eyes will be on her because of this tragic event.
So far I think she's done everything right. I'm so impressed with her maturity and handling of the situation emotionally, but she deserves her own time after giving so much of herself.

This was such a beautiful and emotional performance. Having everyone on stage and hearing the crowd sing just gave me chills. Ariana has earned a new stan in me.

Just poppin my head in to say #OneLoveManchester was absolutely, absolutely beautiful. Super gracious, super humble, super powerful – a perfect reaction to the tragedy that can only stem from true empathy. She's golden.

One Love Manchester came together so amazingly from her and her team - I don't know if I would've been able to do everything she did.

I didn't plan to watch it but I managed to see big part of the concert via YouTube live stream. The atmosphere was very positive and cheerful and yet they managed to keep it respectful and didn't get too corny. I'm glad this turned out to be a huge success.

All of the audio is now on Spotify as well. (edit: except for "Something Just Like This," for some reason)

Still has a good lead at #1 on iTunes in both the UK and Ireland. #5 on the UK Spotify today and #20 on the Irish one. I wonder what its chances of going to #1 are on both charts (top 10/5 is guaranteed)

Still has a good lead in the UK, even before combing the second version. 1.012 in Ireland combined (#2 is 1.0000) so barely hanging on. Falls from #5 to #6 on U.K. Spotify today (which was a big jump yesterday, I forget what from), and up from #20 to #14 on the Irish Spotify

"One Last Time" unfortunately fails to dethrone "Despacito" in the UK. Goes up from #12 to #2.

New peak of #16 in Ireland (I expected it to go top ten considering how strong its sales were, but I guess its only decent Spotify prevented it)

It's amazing that people are so willing to help to make a song Top 3 but it truly is unfortunate that it just misses the top spot! At least it managed to reach #1 in Scotland:)

ETA: Still #4 and #37 on the Irish iTunes (#3 combined) and #2 and #17 on the UK iTunes
