Don't know how well his posthumous songs will do in this day and age?, but aside from Nevrrmind; I was never really a big Kurt Cobain fan. Plus this guy took all the fun outta rock n roll.

Related odd fun fact: Nirvana's longest-peaking alt #1 was the 2002 release You Know You're Right! It spent 4 weeks on top, with Heart-Shaped Box the runner-up at 3 weeks.

MJ is a cultural icon who had a massive promo push by the label and a collaboration with Justin Timberlake to get the new material played on pop, rhthmic and urban radio. I somehow doubt the Kurt Cobain solo single will get much crossover play

a possible contender?
That was just sad. BTW, raped any good Beatles songs lately?

This is nothing more than a money grubbing move.
I feel bad for any artist who has their work exploited like this after death.
If the artist meant for it to be heard, it would most likely not be left in a vault, unheard by the public.
The fact that Kurt despised the media for explotive tactics that they are using on him years after his death is sad.

A cover of the Beatles' And I Love Her is under Cool New Music.

so my station just played this today, and if this is the "single" I'm not sure why this album exists. I'm sure Kurt Cobain never wanted these tracks released to the public, and the cover was so lo-fi that only the most intense enthusiasts will be remotely interested. Not that I was that interested before, but if you're going to go out and release a posthumous album at least make sure the songs are worth releasing.

I refuse to support this. Kurt sure as hell wouldn't have wanted this to happen. .

A cover of the Beatles' And I Love Her is under Cool New Music. Another one I get right. I'm almost as good at choosing singles as Daryl is at guessing song peaks .

This is going against everything about Kurt Cobain. So pointless to release.

So, anyone heard the album? And if so, how was it?
