It's been a while since I liked a Maroon 5 at first listen. "one More Night" was probobly the last time I charted them? This one has a very definate Indie feel to it. I can already hear the haters complain of why it sounds so different. Me? Download? check.

I think with this one they're trying too hard to have a hit summer song and stay 'relevant' for summer. The song is bad.

Yeah, a couple stations here, who stan for Maroon 5 hard, barley even played it. Obviously because of it's questionable lyrical content, even if it was censored.

I think the lyrics were part of it, but I would've thought the song would fail to reach the top 10 if the lyrics were that objectionable.

This song fell out of the top 40 this week, after spending 13 weeks on the chart. That's very low for a top 10 hit.
Not counting songs that were on the very first HAC chart (22 April '94), here are the top 10 songs that have spent less than 13 weeks on the chart:
"Leave Virginia Alone" - Rod Stewart. Peak of #7, 12 weeks on "Can I Touch You...There?" - Michael Bolton. Peak of #8, 10 weeks on "Butterfly Kisses" - Bob Carlisle. Peak of #9, 11 weeks on "Dance into the Light" - Phil Collins, peak of #10, 12 weeks on "Only Love (The Ballad of Sleeping Beauty)" - Sophie B. Hawkins. Peak of #10, 12 weeks on
All of the above songs charted when the HAC chart was only 30 positions.
