Oh my...there's basically nothing in sight at all that's any kind of threat to SYA. I know some are saying it, but there's no way SUAD is dethroning SYA esp w/ these BL, Happy like daily gains. We 'may' have another UF/ TOL situation (to a smaller degree). SYAs current #1 total points still only consists of 12-15% airplay! lol In another month the % of airplay points (alone) are going to be in orbit and possibly a firewall in case its sales for whatever the reason start to plummet (unlikely). The initial hype for the movie def. died down and the songs minimal weekly sales declines and streaming are clearly being reflected due to the increase in airplay. Don't be surprised if there's actually minor sales increases or (more likely scenario) even smaller declines in the next several weeks. 5th week is guaranteed but it's still VERy early to determine if this is a #1 song for 10+ weeks. Lesson forever learned w/ UF that 'something' could come out of nowhere (whether it's viral or major surprise release from a mega star etc..) Far as noteworthy upcoming possible competition- only Bad Blood by Taylor. But it's a 4th single so...dunno about it going #1. Will def. get instant airplay/sales but thinking top 10/top 5 peak most likely.

See you again's going to wiz past the 16 weeks #1 mark and make Boyz II Men and Mariah say sayonara to their record. The sheer irony...

Though I do agree it'd be a funny twist to see OSD lose its title to another tribute to the dearly-departed.

There would not be enough walls in the world for me to punch if that happened Looks like Pretty Girls won't even be top 10 this week. A situation similar to that of Work Bitch. Although I suppose the video could change that and the song could pull a Wrecking Ball

If our favorite movie song makes it to 10 uninterrupted weeks, back to back songs will have 10 week uninterrupted runs for the third time overall.
(We Belong Together/Gold Digger 10 weeks each) (Black Eyed Peas 2 songs)

Some uptempo fun mindless summer singles to shake things up. In the meantime, I remain somber in my see you again era

I don't see Hey Mama being a #1... only a top 10 and top 5 max.

Nasty Freestyle has a better chance of being song of the summer than See You Again.

Who's gonna perform at the BBMA's? And what songs will be performed?
Style deserved the promotion and attention Bad Blood is getting.

YAS AT THAT UPDATE FOR SUAD! there might still be hope for it to reach #1! I wonder how many more weeks it would've gotten at #1 if streaming counted back then lol Not much, it's competing with both of TI's song (Live Your Life and Whatever You Like), and holy cow, that guy is huge then. I am aware of those two songs being big at the time but I'm not so sure the streaming would've been quite as high for T.I.'s songs as for Womanizer. But then again I could be wrong seeing as how hip-hop has been known to do very well in streaming. Oh, Taylor announced that Bad Blood video will premiere at the BBMA's. See you again, See You Again. Uptown What? :kii: I don't see how UF has anything to do with it...it's already down to #3 and next week probably #4 or maybe even #5 if SUAD can go keep increasing enough. Unless you're saying that BB remix will surely beat UF's 14 weeks at #1 in which case dream on lol. I still remember how Taylor stans on here expected 12+ weeks at #1 for BS followed immediately by Style at #1 xD of course as we all know I would be really happy if BB remix dethroned SYA long enough for (hopefully!) SUAD to make #1, even though I'm not a big fan of the original version of BB.

It looks like the reference to Uptown Funk was a joke.
The Taylor Swift song, as well as Shut Up And Dance are next in line as the Pulse People's choice to dethrone See You Again once its run ends (which does not look to be any time soon)

I'm really hoping Chains, Talking Body, Hey Mama, and Honey I'm Good all go top 10 this summer. Also yay at that SUAD radio update!!! So happy things are lining up for some good hits this summer.

We have to be in the slowest turn over era for the H100 since the mid 90s days. Songs just can't seem to stay at the top less than 5 or 6 weeks right now. In fact, Shake It Off is the only song in the last year that has spent less than 5, with 4. When I Was Your Man was our last one weeker, a full two years ago. SYA would likely be another 10 weeker if not for the Bad Blood remix coming, which I think will dethrone it and start its own 5-7 week run.

I feel like streaming could be a reason for the slow turn over rate. The songs that have hit #1 over the past year have all had extremely strong streaming numbers. But I mean high sales and high airplay definitely helped out too

i dont think theyll get naked for views I think you underestimate Iggy Azalea. Everytime people gripe about the nudity in WB, I think of "Change Your Life" - where Iggy actually had her tits out, yet the song hardly became a smash. Unless I missed something, you never actually see any of Miley's bits in WB. That said, I'm not here for the slut-shaming of any artist, make or female.
