Believe it or not, this beautiful instrumental not only reached number one on the Hot 100, but it was there for 9 weeks, and is the number one record for the entire year of 1960. Sure sounds different than today's music, doesn't it. It's one of my favorites. What do you think of it? www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSsiS-v6_6MI just did a little research, and found that this was the biggest record of the entire decade of the 1960's. It ties "Hey Jude" at 9 wks. at number one, but it was on the Hot 100 longer.

This is one of my favorite tunes of the 1960s. I actually had this on my iPod for several years. It was also featured in the film "The Crowded Sky" if you ever get a chance to see that.

One of the best easy listening instrumentals of all time. My earliest memory of this song was where it was featured on an episode of the 90s cult classic cartoon "Freakazoid".
