A Tuesday release...I smell an iHeartMedia World Premiere, with spins every hour. I was expecting it though, so I'm not surprised.
I wonder if this can debut top 20? "Crash My Party" debuted at #28 on Billboard, but it didn't get the Clear Channel 'deal'. "That's My Kind Of Night" did get the CC deal, however, and it debuted at #21, also after 6 days of airplay (it was a Tuesday release as well). I think Luke is just as popular now than he was in 2013, if not more popular, and this is a lead single. But then again, it takes more audience now to crack the top 20 than it did in 2013. I think Garth's "People Loving People" was the last top 20 debut...it of course debuted and peaked at #19.
Obviously we won't know until after it's first couple of days at radio, but I wouldn't be surprised if this debuts in the top 20.

Ugh no. I know it's inevitable, but I hate that he'll automatically debut ahead of songs I love that have been struggling forever on the chart

Wasn't Something in the Water the last top 20 debut at #17?

Wasn't Something in the Water the last top 20 debut at #17? Right! For some reason I was thinking that one was released before Garth's "People Loving People", but PLP was released at the beginning of September and SITW was released at the end of September.

Based on the live clip, I'm pretty sure I'll like this.

I hope the production is solid because the lyrics sound like a "That's My Kind of Night" retread. I'm definitely ready for some more Luke Bryan, but hoping for more songs like "Roller Coaster" and "Drink A Beer".

I know it's inevitable, but I hate that he'll automatically debut ahead of songs I love that have been struggling forever on the chart I agree with this, but the plus side is that hopefully this means the end of "Games", so the new single will essentially be replacing it and the lower charting songs won't really lose a spot. That's my hope, at least. I hope this new single is good. I liked most of his last slbum, so I have high hopes for this.

From the live version, this sounds exactly how I thought it would.
Sorry but, in the last few years, Luke Bryan's music (for the most part) just hasn't been my cup of tea.

I love how he has to announce "come on yall, we got a new one!"
Probably because this one sounds like all of the other ones.

Yikes! This sounds likes "That's My Kind of Night Ver.2" to me. I honestly feel a little dirty with the knowledge that I used to enjoy & pull for this guys music. He almost seems like a cartoon character of his former self at this point.

Yeah, not feeling this one. I was hoping it wouldn't sound "bro", but it unfortunately does. Come on Luke. What's sad is he and all these "bros" can do much much better.

The live video of him playing an unfinished acoustic version of a song is far better.
I don't mind this, cause I like Luke quite a lot, but he can do better. It's irritating that this is a bit "rappy" like something Florida Georgia Line would sing. "Fill your cup up?" Come on Luke.

I must be getting old....this guy and his music is just sounding so cheesy. It's all so contrived and pretty much forgettable to me. I used to really be a fan of his until this last Album.

I think this could debut higher because country has opened up to more people recently, ("Take Your Time" and "Girl Crush") and has gotten more popular.

Simply put, the haters are going to have a field day with this one and it's also gonna sell a jillion copies. Heard the demo months ago and its catchy as hell, like it or not.

Saw that Luke will be performing on the Good Morning America concert series on August 7th.
Windmills said on twitter the speculation I was wondering. Does that mean the album will drop the same day? That would mean the lead single would have been out 12 weeks by then.

August is correct on the album drop. Still doesn't have a complete track list just yet. Probably be two singles deep by the time the albums drops.

August is correct on the album drop. Still doesn't have a complete track list just yet. Probably be two singles deep by the time the albums drops. People are just giving honest opinions upon listening to the live version and lyrics. Everyone knows this will be a big hit and no one ever said different. There's no need to use the word haters when it's just personal opinions being given. Second, it all depends on when "Kick The Dust Up" hits the top. If this gets to #1 by the 9-10 week mark or so (really difficult to that now and days though, even for Luke) and they have another hourly premiere and debut for the second single like they did with "That's My Kind Of Night." I'm sure the second single will be out the week of the album drop or at most, a week or two after. It still has to play out but I'm sure that ideally, Capitol will want the same schedule they had with Crash My Party.

I like Luke, but I don't like these types of songs, what makes me still really like him is the fact that he seems to have a great personality and seems to be a nice guy. With people like Blake he has a tougher personality to like, so when his songs suck I don't like him, when the songs are good he's good, same with Aldean.

To no one's surprise, this will be getting an iHeartMedia world premiere with spins every hour.
