Artist: Dean Brody Song: Bring Down The House Album: Gypsy Road Release: May 25, 2015 (Canadian Country Radio) Purchase Source: Dean's Facebook Listen:I realize that this song will most likely only go to Canadian radio, but I figured there are a few Dean fans here on Pulse who might want to generate a discussion about his newest single. It's the second single from his newly released fifth album, Gypsy Road. I was hoping "Monterrey" would be the next single, but this is a solid choice. It's a very radio friendly single that was picked by the fans.

I really don't think that we need to start threads for Canadian only releases (I would have started about 50 by now if that were the case, lol) but I'm thrilled there are some Dean fans here.
That being said, this is my least favorite track from the outstanding Gypsy Road. I was hoping for "Monterrey" or "Sweet Lola". It certainly is upbeat enough but the vocal arrangement in the chorus is a little grating and that just might prevent this from going top 10 in Canada. The instrumentation is pretty cool and Dean sounds good as always but there were better options.

When I saw the thread I believed this to be an US release backed by full label support. :) LOL Have to admit that I have not yet listened to Dean's latest album in full: I'm not totally familiar with this track but it sounds pretty "electronic" and commercial, at first listen. Certainly, quite a move in a different direction. Undecided, yet.
