I'm a performer and I would HATE to do meet and greets. When I get off stage, the last thing I ever wanna do is talk to anyone, actually. The rush of performing is such a high that afterwards I need a quiet calm. I'm not excusing Demi at ALL (plus she's making a killing doing them) but I'm assuming it's incredibly taxing. Don't meet & greets usually happen before the show?

Well, then you can just not charge fans for meet and greets then? I can understand more if fans are swarming you as you walk to your car or if you are otherwise being forced, but from what I understand these fans paid actual money to meet her as part of a deal. Like, money that Demi accepted. I am impressed by radio's love for her. Sales and call out and even streaming haven't been great, but radio is just in love with her. It is weird that she is not connecting more in other ways. It seems like she has a pretty cohesive look and talent AND radio support to back her up...I wonder why it isn't connecting into more sales like someone like Selena who I only name because I think of that as her closest peer releasing right now. But, I guess Ariana would be too and Ariana is struggling as well so maybe we are just wanting a break from pop girls that aren't Adele or Taylor? I mean, even Ellie's new project isn't absolutely smashing.

Demi has been slaying these JingleBall performances. Despite some hit or miss performances near the beginning of this album campaign, she's been going strong as of late. Absolutely slaying "Stone Cold", "Yes", "For You" and "Mr. Hughes" live.

This is the best vocal performance I've heard from her.

That performance confirmed she is a vocal powerhouse. SC is also a no-brainer for the next single.

She has been showing so much more control lately than she's had in the past!

I think she thinks Stone Cold is a much better song than it actually is.

I think she thinks Stone Cold is a much better song than it actually is. True. I only really gave the song a chance because her vocals are unbelievable. Like...this performance is insane.

I don't think that Stone Cold should be a single. She's been performing For You a LOT recently, I think that they are going (and should go) with that for #3.

I think she thinks Stone Cold is a much better song than it actually is. Amen. It doesn't have an iota of catchiness, so, outside of a very good vocal performance, I'm not quite sure why anyone thinks this would make a good single. If they want to torpedo the album, then...sure. If I want powerful, Gospelesque vocals, I will choose Father every single time.

Are they releasing a third single? I feel like this era was supposed to be a lot bigger than it's been.

I'm not sure how to feel about that. I mean, on the one hand, I love that the song she loves the most is getting released. On the other - and I'd love to eat my words here - the song doesn't seem to be radio-friendly single material.
This is giving me anxiety.

Her best Xtina impression (whether she knows this or not) is her pre-fame recording of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". She stole every run and adlib.

Demi's impression of Christina Aguilera was on point.

Do you think the record company recouped their money invest so far with the "Confident" project? It was treated as an A list pop release. Radio deals, snippets, videos, good promo spots, sales pricing etc. Has the 184 thousand cd sales added with single and streaming been enough to make a profit??

I'm going to take an educated guess and say yes. this cd will cross at least 200k and cool for the summer is around a million sold and confident should get a million sold in the next few months . I'm basing this educated guess off the fact that artists typically don't get dropped if their CDS sell 200k~ so I figure in the current music landscape that's enough sold to turn a profit , even if it's small
