This is the best song on the album. I also like the one with Ed. I like all 3 of the collaborations. Mainly because they sound like the collaborating artist's style combined with Abel's. It's most evident on Dark Times and Losers, IMO, but it's there on Prisoner too. "Tell Your Friends" and "Real Life" are good too. "In The Night" was a letdown, but maybe it will be a grower. I think this can get up to #2 with the extra points it will get from the album release. That would make him the first ever solo artist to have the top two, I think.

Others have done it too , Usher Nelly TI Some of their songs had features, but they were the leads for all of them

First time since T-Swift last year that an artist has had 2 songs in the Hot 100's Top 3 in the same week. First artist to have 2 lead songs in the top 3 in the same week since TI in '08.

It is pretty interesting how some R&B songs can smash on all formats pretty much throughout the year but the climate of CHR is still pretty anti-hip hop and R&B.

That's because the ones that do have strong pop influences. This is the only exception in recent years, and it more has to with the fact that The Weeknd is a huge name on the pop format right now.

Considering The Weeknd's opening sales and singles performance, it'll be interesting to see if labels invest more in R&B moving forward. It's rare that an act becomes as big as The Weeknd is right now without record labels trying to find the next one...

And to think, this didn't even go for adds. It just took off on its own.

Can we assess the likelihood of this becoming a Hot 100 #1? I'm thinking it'll get stuck with a #2 peak but hopefully manages to sneak one in somehow.

I think this actually has a huge chance of spending at least four weeks at #1. WDYM? will fall from #1 either this week or next, and this will pass "Can't Feel My Face" in the same week, I'm thinking.

Its airplay will increase, it'll still be number one in digital sales, and it'll likely still have very strong streaming.

Sales are definitely going to fall fairly hard this week and I think streaming will fall a bit too, which would give a small chance for another song to top the Hot 100 this week, and I think by next week, "The Hills" will be closer in sales, and I think it currently has the lead in airplay and streaming, so it would overtake it then.

I don't see "What Do You Mean?" dropping from the top for at least two more weeks. This definitely has the next shot at #1 though.

I don't care how many weeks WDYM gets at #1 (within reason) as long as The Hills doesn't end up peaking at #2 behind it.

#2 on The Hot 100, right behind Can't Feel My Face. BBTM is still #1 on the Billboard 200, as well.

Really hoping this has the firepower to grab the #1 spot next week. C'mon man, one to go! Also, The Weeknd is the 16th artist in history to nab the top 2 in the same week and the 10th to nab the top 2 in the same week as a lead in both songs.
