Explicit CD only available through her website; edited CD available at Amazon and select Walmarts; Target will not be carrying it in store. Not available at a single Walmart in the San Antonio, Austin, nor Houston areas since I'm going out there this weekend. This some ol' bullsh!t! Now my only options are to either bUy it from her website in a bundle or wait get an edited version. RCA ain't s**t. My local Walmart had 3 copies in the T section which I promptly moved to the New Releases end-cap. I ordered the explicit from Walmart.com for $9.02 since they offered free shipping on it! Try there.

So I listened to the album last night and there's one thing I can say for sure: I feel the tension and frustration between her and the label all the way through the record. Nothing is cohesive and nothing flows smoothly. It sounds like a high-budgeted mixtape because there's no clear direction at all. The songs themselves are all great but it's so obvious that Tina wanted an album full of Salt's and Stuck With Me's while the label wanted Me So Bad's and No Drama's. All are welcome of course because there are no bad tracks at all.

That’s a great idea! I’m near an FYE today so I’ll stop in and see what they have available and how much also. Couldn’t hurt to see if they carry an explicit version in stores since they’re a smaller, more niche kind of store.

I'm honestly waiting for mixtape Tina to come back Cause lbr her mixtape work is ethereal dark magic type stuff And the best part of it is, she has the upper hand on the elements of everything on it as she is involved entirely Nightride & Aquarius were both great, though a bit messy at a few parts more so the Aquarius. And then she can also make her own Urban jams hence Vulnerable & Chainless

Ouch! She could've done better number without all the delays.

Aquarius debuted at #17 with 18k (80k to date). Nightride debuted at #89 with 4k sales. Tragic all around.

This could've been another "Aquarius".

All are welcome of course because there are no bad tracks at all. Yeah, I was just venting to a friend of mine that I hate how much I can hear the label apathy in this. It's 10 times more frustrating b/c if you remove No Drama, Me So Bad, and Faded Love (and also the intro and the Go Easy On Me interlude, though I won't hold those against her) you are left with a strong, cohesive EP, sort of a coda to Nightride. But they insisted on inserting these 'radio bait' songs in the tracklist, then threw all three of those songs/vids out in the span of two months without a real push. Now the album is out and there's nothing left (in the label's eyes) that could be a viable single. Personally I think No Contest and Ooh La La would have been good single choices...in a vacuum. Coming off all these obvious attempts to grab attention and no label support, they'd get ignored. This era was pretty much set up to be finished as soon as it was released. I knew that would likely be the case but it's still a buzzkill now that it's actually come to pass. It's kind of odd to think now that Joyride was once 'taken' from her - it obviously would not have been a single for either her or Rihanna. I'm glad Tinashe did get to keep it as it makes for a great album opener, but the label screwed with the vibe anyway so I don't know if it was worth it.

If you have their Backstage Pass loyalty card, that knocks another 10% off to make it $8.99. They had 4 (now 3) on the top shelf of the New Release rack.

Ooh La La He Don't Want It No Drama Faded Love Me So Bad Joyride
Five times through this album and just purchased. I'm not gonna lie, it's quite entertaining and smooth, and I'm confident this will keep growing on me. I'm actually fine with the inclusion of songs like "No Drama" and "Me So Bad," because to me this kind of alt-R&B and pop blends are what sets her apart from all her alt-R&B peers (Jhene Aiko, Kelela, Dawn Richards, Syd, etc.).

So like am I the only bitch that’s about ‘Stuck With Me’?
Anyway I agree with the person who said this would’ve been like 10x better had we got the best cuts from Nightride on it and scrapped the filler in this.

yeah, if users dont like those two, they have a problem. That, or they just dont like Tinashe. Easily the best songs of the album, at least the most authentic Tinashe.
I love Stuck with me too, tho.

Joyride No Drama Ooh La La Me So Bad Stuck with Me Salt No Contest
The album is solid and cohesive to be so short but definitely feels more like an extension of her mixtape and it's blatantly obvious RCA has no intention of supporting it beyond the three most commercial records she's already released.

Does she have any promo lined up. Those photographs look great. I never expected her to go in futeristic style visually. It's not like it matches the material also.
