Finally figured who sang this song! Love it! I agree that Levine doesn't sound like himself. I was thinking it was one of those people on Shaggy's "I Need Your Love" singing the hook on this.

I thought the exact same thing, except Costi, Faydee and mohombi are Adam Levine . This is the #1 written all over it, watch out charts R city is coming

Rumors of Adam's/M5's demise may have been premature... This one may be on the verge of blowing up. Time for 24 hr video watch. Just needs the help on streaming to truly break out.

Lol, what idiots legitimately thought Adam or Maroon 5 were done? On what basis?
Their past nine singles have all been top 10 hits on pop as well as other formats. They still get LOTS of radio play.
Some wishful thinking going on around here...

Cant remember the last time my ears feel like they're about to bleed when I hear a certain voice on the radio now. That voice is 200% Adam Levine's lol. He makes Katy, Rihanna, Gaga etc etc..look underplayed and underrated..'together' over the last 5 friggin years!

I suppose... haha and if Mariah, Madonna or Janet had those peaks or (anywhere semi in the ballpark) would instantly be considered a smash comeback hit. M5 were lucky that 'This supertryhard Summer' even peaked as high as it did. Highly doubtful but M5/Adam hopefully get a little queezy from that piece of humble pie under-performer (and blatant 'provocative' wannabe smash...in their minds), take a nice long 2 year break and come back crisp/fresh with something hot like Lucky Strike, Moves Like Jaggar, or Makes Me Wonder etc..

This will hit #1 in no time.

I suppose...And yet it couldn't make more than ten weeks on the chart. Smash. I know this is the internet where people can't handle the concept of "the middle"...but I didn't say it was a smash. I said it wasn't a flop. Yes, something can actually exist somewhere other than the extremes, internet! Crazy, I know.

I guess we're just going to have to disagree, but what I'm getting at is the fact that "This Summer..." flopped no matter which way you look at it. It's already forgotten, and especially following a hit as huge as "Sugar" was, it should have peaked a lot higher than it did anyways. Sales were absolutely horrid for it. It even freefell on what's (usually) their home format, HAC, where it faded out after #7.
Top 10 on iTunes!

It's all about that "Would youu still loove me the saame?" hook. <3 (Although my response would certainly be "Well, that depends...WHY are you locked away? Too many unpaid parking tickets? Or running a dog-fighting ring?") Haha yeah that's the only thing I can't fathom about this song. WHY exactly are you getting locked away?

Not a fan of this, but I've started hearing it on the radio and I see a lot of hit potential.

I think you're way more concerned than they are, lol. Their previous 3 single from the current era smashed. The 4th single was a moderate hit. Now, this feature is smashing. Definitely time to panic.

I see the people who blame Adam Levine for all their life's problems are still at it.
The hook reminds me of I'm Yours and another song that I just can't put my finger on right now.

This is pleasant, inoffensive radio fodder but I'm honestly surprised it's blowing up as fast as it is. It reminds me so much of Shaggy/Mohombi/etc's "I Need Your Love" except I thought that one was significantly catchier. I don't mind this being a hit, but it's not something that's going to hold my interest for long either.

Yea I agree it is very similar to I Need Your Love. This is definitely going to be a future Number 1 hit!
