First of all get back to work secondly that's an interesting title. I'll just wait for the studio audio since I've found Keith to be a little bland lately with some of his songs.

Wow. I'm sure they will manage to muddy this up with a bunch of over the top noise & nonsense , but this has the potential to be the first urban song to fit my tastes in years....

Depending on the production this has a real possibility of being a great, fun song. We will see when it comes out. I really like the play on words.

Could Keith possibly have an album as amazing as Be Here or Defying Gravity in his hands... (I hated Get Closer, and Fuse was fine but not what I expect from Keith)
I absolutely love the live version if this, a really intelligent song about suburban lifestyle.

The live version sounds good.
Which leads me to assume that the production will be overpowering and manage to ruin the song. Judging by the way Keith's production has progressed from album to album, it wouldn't surprise me if there were no real instruments in this at all. :(

I guess he co-produced one of the deluxe-only tracks as well, "Gonna B Good". He did produce all of Keith's previous stuff but I've never found any of Keith's material to be bombastic or over-produced.

I still found "Somewhere In My Car's" production to be a little over bearing in the chorus which distracted me from its melody, but it's still one of my all-time favorite Keith songs. A few of Dann's produced stuff wasn't my thing (most notably with some of Faith Hill and Rascal Flatts material), but rarely to the extent that it ruined a song (which I'm sure there are some that disagree with me). The man is one of the best guitar players and studio men in the business, so it wasn't meant as a put down, but just a friendly jab at some of his past produced material.

I've always found that Huff was best when producing K.U. A lot less bombastic, probably because he let Keith handle all the guitar parts instead of doing them himself. Huff does have other good production in him - I thought "Better Dig Two" and "Don't Rush" were some of Huff's best productions.
Personally it's Nathan Chapman that I'm wondering about. His work for Taylor and on TBP's first album was fairly subdued, but now he's all about layers and layers of synth and guitars. Chapman did 3/5 of the singles on Fuse.
Also, it seems like we're getting a lot of nonstandard titles lately. This one, Billy C's new one, Tyler Farr's new one, etc. all seem like slightly different titles.

Intruiging title. I'll wait to hear the studio version, but I have high hopes. I liked a lot of Keith's last album, and he usually delivers for me, so I'm expecting to like this.

I liked Dann Huff's work with SHeDAISY... The live acoustic of this sounded pretty good. I like the melody. Will be interested to see what the studio is like.

Lyrics and melody sound very good. I agree with others-will have to see what production does to it.
I hope it isn't quite as 'loud' as Fuse; while I do like most of Fuse I prefer to hear Keith's soulful voice above all the instrumentation.

There's a preview of the studio version of this song on the Keith Urban official app. This link will prompt the iTunes app store to open, and you can listen to it if you download the free KU app. That appears to be the only way to listen as of right now. I think it sounds pretty good. It's got some of the drum loops that we've been hearing a lot of lately. It kind of reminded me of the drums and also the stuttered banjo part from Keith's "Little Bit Of Everything", but I think the lyrics in this new one are much stronger than LBOE.

Wow... I absolutely hate the production on this, such a shame because I love the lyrics and the melody but the production is straight up offensive.

I know Keith probably has a tight schedule, but I'm surprised they're not taking some more time off. "Raise 'Em Up" peaked only a couple of weeks ago, and it seems like they're in a rush to get this one out. They must want the album out by the end if summer I'm assuming.

Will be sent to radio on Play MPE at 6 am eastern time on Tuesday, June 9. Goes for adds on June 15. I don't think he's even close to being done with the album. I've been tracking it as best as I can and I don't think he's recorded more than 6-8 tracks yet, at most, and that's not even confirmed yet. I'm starting to think this could be a situation where the album doesn't come out until the 2nd single is working its way up the chart. I'm still thinking a Q4 release.

Hey now! Get Closer only had 8 tracks, unless you bought it from Target ;) That's true! I guess I'm just expecting the typical-length album (at least 11-12 tracks), and it sounds like Keith has really only just gotten into the studio full-time now, now that American Idol has wrapped up for the season (and he's not touring this summer, aside from a handful of fairs/festivals). I loved Get Closer, though. Fuse is far and away my least favorite Keith album (I still liked it, but just not nearly as much as his past albums), so I'm hoping that he'll give us some better-written tracks this time around. That was my main complaint with Fuse...I feel like Keith sacrificed lyrical depth in favor of different melodies/production sounds, and while some of the songs certainly did sound cool, I don't want him to get too far away from country sounds. He's obviously never been a traditional country artist like George Strait...but I guess what I'm saying is that I could do without a lot of the EDM/electric-flavored stuff. That's just not my cup of tea. Anyway, Keith has never had an iHeartMedia 'deal' (with once an hour spins), so I'm kind of disappointed about that, but I'm still excited to hear this song.

Wow!! That's way soon. I'm surprised but not complaining!
One question, and probably a stupid one. What's Q4 mean? Sorry, long day lol

Official Single Art (as we probably expected) Details about the single. LyricsI really, really like this song. As for the album, given that he's open to recording in areas that aren't just Nashville and knowing that KU wanted to record a record just like he did FUSE, I suspect we'll get a record in time for Christmas and that it's already 1/2 done (He probably recorded/wrote a lot in LA when not on set for Idol). I'd say October/November (which is definitely Q4) is a great bet. I also think the album will have 2 singles out before it's released (this one peaking in September with single #2 out before release date.

The production is really quite "pop" on this, but overall I like the song a lot. I'd say I like it better than all the Fuse singles except "Somewhere In My Car". I'd put this one on par with "We Were Us" (in terms of how I'd personally rank KU singles).
It's definitely no "Til Summer Comes Around" or "Stupid Boy", but it's a pretty strong song from Keith--I really like the lyrics here. Overall it's a bit of a different sound from him, and yet at the same time it's still very 'Keith Urban-ish', if that makes sense.
I think (and hope) that this will become Keith's 19th #1 hit.

This is a little funky, and will take a few more listens for me to fully digest this. I will say that the lyrics are quite good, but the song wasn't as catchy upon fist listen as most Keith songs are. Also, doesn't really strike me as a summer type song, but that ultimately won't bother me.
