Kiss Me Once was trash but it was the first time Kylie had disappointed with an album in years, so I'm excited for this new one.

Unlike most Kylie fans I enjoyed most of Kiss Me Once at the time, but overall the album did not age that well. Since she left her label I am sure she is ready to change up her sound again.

That list of collaborators looks like it could go either way with her. I enjoyed most of KMO, but outside the highlights it either didn't stick much or was not good. Still, I preferred it to Aphrodite. I hope she stays away from that fire island circuit party vibe, especially when this could actually be a chance for her to push further outward musically.

^I echo those sentiments.
For me, Kylie doesn't have a bad album overall, but IMO her BEST work is when she doesn't make a "Kylie" album, which Aphrodite and KMO both were.
KM 94, Impossible Princess, Body Language, and X were more experimental in pushing her sound beyond Happy, "Kylie," frothy dance-pop.

My favorite Kylie albums are: 1. Impossible Princess 2. Fever 3. Light Years 4. KM 94 5. Body Language I like her early singles but don't listen to the albums as a whole. I did not like the last 2 albums at all. Hopefully she will comeback with something more substantial.

I thought Aphrodite was great for the most part. It maybe wasn't as interesting as her past albums but it was good for what it was.

With Enjoy Yourself in existence, idk how anyone can say Kiss Me Once is her worst. On a personal scale I do like most of Kiss Me Once though. "If Only" is so under appreciated generally speaking and "Sleeping With the Enemy" is gorgeous. Also, "Les Sex" not getting a singles release kind of leaves a bitter taste in my mouth a bit still.

The album didn't age well, but a couple songs feel like classic Kylie to me. I still listen to "kiss me once" "into the blue" and "sexercize" often.

LEAVE YOU- MOVE ON TO A PERFECT STRANGER!
"Get Outta My Way" should have been the #1 song all throughout 2010 bye.

Listening to Hilary Duff's "One in a Million" makes me think of Kylie's "A Million Miles." I think it's time I revisited Kiss Me Once which I do love, but not as much as her prior two before it.

Love Kylie. It's such a shame she's not more popular in the States.
Slow slayed.

I think All the Lovers was the perfect 'comeback' for Kylie after the X era and what most Kylie fans wanted from her at the time. The main problem was, as you stated, how long it took the label to release GOMW.

Ooh, I'm excited. A "disco" Christmas album sounds interesting.
As for Kiss Me Once...it's the album that turned me into a big Kylie fan. Obviously I was aware of her and I enjoyed a lot of her songs in the past, but I never really delved into her discography until I fell in love with 'Into the Blue' and the rest of the album.

It's encouraging to hear her newest music is still turning people into fans. "Into The Blue" is a fantastic song, I just wish the video were a bit more interesting to match the song's magnificence

I just recently discovered this gem from the Hits+ album. It's 9 minutes long but it's so beautiful that I barely even notice. I fucking love her Deconstruction era stuff.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon the 16-track Australian import of Hits+ at Best Buy shortly after Fever came out (includes This Girl and Where The Wild Roses Grow). The quality of the songs on it were unbelievable but totally unlike Fever.

New single called "Absolutely Anything and Anything At All"
It's taken from the motion picture "Absolutely Anything", in cinemas across the UK from 14th August 2015.

I finally revisited Body Language, and aside from some obvious period production ("Red Blooded Woman" "Obsession"), I think it still stands as a very solid album. Granted I wrote it off when I was younger because it didn't sound like Fever, and I only remembered it for that album cover and the two US singles. I'm glad she won me back with X (and the amazing follow-ups of Aphrodite, The Abbey Road Sessions & Kiss Me Once), and that I'm a bit older now, so I could appreciate what her album concept was with Body Language now. I'm really in love with "Chocolate" for today.

I just CANNOT @ a Christmas album...and a disco one at that! Who's gonna buy that s**t, aside from a few gays? I hope this is just a rumor.

"After Dark" and "Slo Motion" are two of the best songs she's ever recorded.
Body Language is one of her best and most cohesive artistic works, and I'm so happy it exists. Although I too (being 13 at the time) did not appreciate it at first because it sounded NOTHING like Fever. I often wonder if she would've had more hits in the states if Light Years had broken through instead in 2000 instead of CGYOOMH in 2002.
