Here is a classic Glenn Miller instrumental from 1939. Glenn Miller is probably the most famous big band leader of all time. This was his theme song. I heard it a lot when I was a kid, although it came out before I was born (1943). This is nice music from the "big band era" (also known as the "swing era"). www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPagbe5FsucThis music sounds so totally different from today's music. It's amazing how much popular music has changed with time. What it will sound like 76 years from now is beyond imagination.

I don't have this one, but am certainly familiar with it. Very calming and nice. Popular music sounds very different now than it did 30 or 40 years ago. Even 20 years ago. And you and I will not know what it sounds like in 76 years. Nor will most of the kids on the board, either.

I've heard this one many times. Glenn Miller had many great hits.

This just oozes romance. I love it. It spent 15 weeks at No. 3 on Billboard!
