And it helps that the song is one of the best on the rock charts now.
Even better than Foo

Top 50 on Alternative: 51 50 BREAKING BENJAMIN Angels Fall 141 139 2 0.22 :) That's cool. I shoulda seen this before I did that predictions game I still don't know how to react to seeing songs like "Sedona" and "2 Heads" peakin higher than this? It's just weird and part of me just wishes they would stick to Active where it would always peak higher than the rest of it's peers.

Another solid song from these guys. I was surprised to see this in the top 50 on alt. I expected "Failure" to be it for them there, at least until the next album.

Music video: This is what, their fourth video attributed to death/someone dying? ("So Cold", "The Diary of Jane", "Give Me a Sign", and this.....) Has a rather dark undertone, I must say. EDIT: It took a long time, but I finally made it to 6k. Exactly 7 years after I joined this board too!

Unpopular opinion. Breaking Benjamin is very overrated. Boring vocals, boring music.

I just hope they can squeeze a few weeks on top of Active charts before Chris Cornell does his damage?

Sweet. Very pleasantly surprised to see this hit Top 40 with a decent bullet. I'm hoping for a peak similar to "Same Damn Life" for this.
Now all we need is "Throne" to enter the Top 40 (which it should soon), then we'll finally be seeing some balance on the charts.

Unpopular opinion to H. and Green Baron, but I think Breaking Benjamin is one of the best all-time nu-metal bands and if we did a Top 10 game for them, this would probably be on my list.

I'm not even sure if I'd classify them as nu metal, with Saturate or not. Probably more post-grunge ala 3DG.

I've enjoyed all 3 singles from their last album, and they're 2 for 2 with this era too. I'd even go as far to say that this is one of the best rock songs of 2015, and I think Benjamin Burnley is a great vocalist.
ETA: I wouldn't call Breaking Benjamin nu metal too. I'd say they belong to the Chevelle and Three Days Grace vein of bands. In other words, I'd say they're alternative metal/post grunge.

I thought of post-grunge more like Seether and Puddle of Mudd, which I don't think they sound much like. However, you guys are right as they don't sound like Korn, Disturbed, Slipknot, or Drowning Pool from the top of my head. Alternative/Metal doesn't sound like a bad category to put them in. You could really go on forever when it comes to what sub-genre each band fits into.

I love I Will Not Bow, the rest of their songs are too generic/boring.

I consider them good old hard rock with Nu-Metal tendencies. I'd even go as far as calling them Alternative Metal, but I think it's safe to discard of that Post-Grunge label now, since none of those so-called post- grunge bands are actually sounding post-grunge anyomre. Maybe Puddle Of Mudd can keep the true post-grunge sound alive if they ever release their new material?

Maybe Puddle Of Mudd can keep the true post-grunge sound alive if they ever release their new material? Then the material must be very similar to the Stuck EP

They'd be the best bet, and while the influence won't ever really fade, I can agree that the genre is probably as dead as nu metal.

I'd put Breaking Benjamin at Alt-Metal, which is where I would put their contemporaries Chevelle and Deftones.

I still don't believe in "Alternative Metal" being a thing.

Unpopular opinion: Breaking Benjamin is completely average. Nah, that's a pretty popular opinion, if you ask me. I would know, because I feel that way about BB. (This song is fine, though.)
