Yes, because 91x hasn't added this yet, and therefore stations must be using corporate playlists for this song to go higher. Anyways, I'm personally happy that this made the top 50, but I wouldn't go mad if this flopped on alternative either. (hopes I don't have to argue with Dr. Indie over the same s**t again) ETA: When I said that 91x didn't add it, I can't find it on their new music archives here: www.91x.com/music-type/new-music/page/1/www.91x.com/music-type/new-music/page/2/www.91x.com/music-type/new-music/page/3/I'll stop at page 3 as Ex's & Oh's and Sedona are on that page and I noticed 91x didn't include this song in their recent playlist, so I assume that's the point where they went 'independent'. No Disturbed song found.

No argument needed, but You gotta admit that that Playlist is sweet though. two Incubus hits in less than an hour.and a little Vance Joy action around 5:30 for Dr. Folk to indulge in.

Top 50 on Alternative: 71 50 DISTURBED The Vengeful One 134 73 61 0.383 KFMA/Tucson and WBUZ/Nashville really should be on the Active panel - no problem if Alt stations want to mix this in, but most of these spins are coming from stations playing most of the Active chart

Shinedown passed them on Active! Lame. Disturbed's song is miles better IMO.

I want both songs to go #1. Both great songs.

I want both songs to go #1. Both great songs. I wouldn't mind if both of them took rotating turns at #1, week after week.

For the past four days, this has been seeing higher spin gains than Shinedown (though the latter still has a bigger bullet). I think this can still has a chance to go #1 on Active if this trend continues.

The fight continues...
1 1 SHINEDOWN Cut The Cord 2112 1988 124 6.051 2 2 DISTURBED The Vengeful One 2018 1863 155 5.775
When was the last time the top 2 had over 2000 spins each?

1 1 SHINEDOWN Cut The Cord 2092 2056 36 6.066 2 2 DISTURBED The Vengeful One 2090 1954 136 6.022
Should be #1 soon! (Billboard is another question, since Shinedown is benefitting a bit more from heritage rock airplay)
I'm expecting a Failure-Heavy Is the Head situation for these two songs in that they'll stay at the top 2 for some time.

Well damn, that sucks for "Footsteps" and "Jekyll and Hyde" then. Wouldn't have minded seeing them run for #1 either. Although I can't complain too much - "The Vengeful One" and "Cut the Cord" are both superior.

The Active Top 10 is pretty frickin solid right now, full of great veteran bands like Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin and solid upcoming groups like Nothing More and Highly Suspect.

That surprised me, I thought(and hoped) Cut the Cord would block it and reign for awhile.

According to Billboard, they are going to shoot a music video for "The Light", so that very well could be the next single.
