I am slayed! This is the best song of her entire career. I'm so happy she tried something different. The vocals and instrumental goes hard, the lyrics looked awful on paper but she really delivered them and made it work. Smash hit of summer 2015 for sure and hopefully her biggest hit yet too. If D5 is as good as this then she got herself a new fan.

Does that even sound like her in the versus? lol. The chorus is awesome so explosive. I like this! I honestly thought Selena Gomez hijacked the song...

Just listened, bopping so hard! And the cursing lol. Yas @ the "cool for the summer" line before the chorus. This may do something

This song is the epitome of high risk, high reward. There are so many different things going on that it could have easily sounded like a mashed up mess, but somehow all the different elements just work. The hook is...insane. I can't think of any other word for it. Demi's vocals set her up for a couple of obvious comparisons (Selena on the verses, Katy on the chorus), but for the most part the song doesn't really remind me of anything I've heard from any other current pop star, and in the end she owns this more than I think anyone else could. You would think the faux-hard-rock synths would feel dated and try-hard, but again...somehow it just works.
I also can't stop thinking that this song is everything M5 was trying and failed to be with "This Summer's Gonna Hurt."

Can't wait for files to leak so I can mix it with Break The Rules (an obvious similarity I heard almost instantly). I was almost reminded of Jessie J's Domino

Somewhere during the second verse (on my first listen) made the song really click for me. NGL though, I still prefer "Here We Go Again" and "Heart Attack" as lead singles. But this is pretty early. I'm surprised at how relatively retained her vocal is(...especially after the vocal slayage that was "Heart Attack").
Overall, this sounds like a hit. I can't imagine it not being big.

Love it! Definitely different than what I've from her before, but it was nicely done.

Me listening to this:
Oh, what a nice piano hook. Ooh, 80s tastic! Very Katy Perry. She sounds like Selena Gomez here. Electric guitar?! Whoa, that drop! Ahh, the hook goes with the piano intro! This chorus is so unexpected! Back to the 80s! What a roller coaster of a song! How Sia of her. Yes, this chorus! Was that a fucking violin?! I'm already singing along, and I haven't even heard the full song. That was fucking awesome.
Demi went hard! This honestly might rival Unbroken as my favorite song from her. This will also smash. Hard.

I like it and I'm sure this will easily grow on me a lot. It reminds me a lot of her sound on Here We Go Again and that's a good thing.
There's something about the vocal production though that's reminding me of someone else and I can't put my finger on it. Maybe Kelly Clarkson? IDK.

I like it a lot. She sounds like Katy and musically this reminds me of Teenage Dream (even the message of the song...of course with different lyrics).

My instant reaction was "This could easily be Katy." Especially once the chorus hit. Her voice and delivery are so KP I'm kind of :/ about it for now. I know I'll stan after a few listens to adjust to it.

The chorus is straight lifted from a dated sounding Katy song so I am not sure this will ever be something I like since I wasn't crazy about Katy's TD era and am glad that everyone has moved on from that sound (except apparently not if this is evidence lol). The verses are a bit different though.

On first listen, this is great! It's obviously very well suited for the Summertime.
Damn, I just LOVE that electric guitar in this! Demi delivers yet again!

I get the Katy Perry and Teenage Dream comparisons, but honestly, this would sound off if Katy had done it on that album. This sounds more like a natural progression from the TD era rather than something that would fit into it. Almost as if this is what Prism should've sounded like.

Sexy song.
I agree with whoever said the melody of the chorus sounds a lot like "Domino" by Jessie J.
The production is the best part, I love the piano throughout.

Called it. Anyway, this sounds like one of those Justice wannabes that kept cropping up in the mid-late 2000s to me. I can't hear anything else, and that's not even a bad thing. This is excellent. Edit: lol I don't hear Katy in the chorus at all. I kinda hear (a noticeably more fun) Kelly Clarkson a bit?

O-M-G! :o Did not expect something like this! This is by far her best lead single ever and perhaps her best song period. It's so different for her but it also feels like this is 100% Demi. I hear the This Summer's Gonna Hurt similarities but the Charli XCX element is even more prominent, especially during the chorus which is a twin of Charli's song Sucker.

This is decent. Her vocals remind me of Kesha in the chorus.

The song is amazing. Max Martin and Saven Kotecha never fail to disappoint me. Most of Demi's lead singles are amazing but this one takes the cake for me. Its so different and risky in comparison to what she has done in the past. CFTS is a grower and I'm sure this is gonna be one of the Song's of the summer. Hopefully this song can get her a new peak on the hot 100.
