It's been a long time since "Chainsaw" went recurrent. I know they had "Gentle On My Mind" to hold people over, but they certainly took a pretty long break for a mainstream act. I'm curious to here this though, as I've enjoyed a couple of their songs.

I'm looking forward to this. They had a strong collection of singles thus far in my opinion.

So excited! "DONE." remains one of my favorite country singles of all-time and I haven't disliked any of their singles thus far.

Dang it, I was hoping it would be out sooner. I am seeing them in concert next Friday and I was really hoping they would play it live. I know that they are being super tight liped about the new single, so it most likely won't happen. Nevertheless, new music from The Band Perry is always a good thing. It's been a long time.

I saw the Ad in aircheck and thought it said TODAY. No wonder MPe didn't have the song yet. Interesting that it's coming in August. I fully expect it to be an uptempo pop-leaning type of track with loops and percussive elements (they've had similar sounds before). I'll likely enjoy the track no matter how it sounds.

Ready for new TBP! Do we think the diamond heart in the teaser pic is a hint at the song title?

Ready for new TBP! Do we think the diamond heart in the teaser pic is a hint at the song title? Yes! I predict that the song is going to be called either "Diamond Heart" or "Luminescent Polygons".

Excited for this! I saw The Band Perry live a couple years ago and they were amazing. "Better Dig Two" was a fantastic lead single so I have high hopes for this.

I can't wait to hear this, their lead singles have traditionally been strong in my opinion They have only had two lead singles so far in their career and "Hip To My Heart" is their weakest single in terms of success and my personal opinion.

I'm extremely ready to hear how eclectic their sound becomes with this infusion of contributions from staples of other musical genres. They're a group that can really pull off the crossover sound quite easily -- probably one of just a few mainstream country acts today, group or soloist.

I thought "Pioneer" was an underwhelming effort, but "Done" and "Better Dig Two" remain my two favorite TBP songs to-date, so I'm intersted to see what the next era holds.
I'm not a huge fan of the crossover/bombastic sound on them, but I'm sure they'll come up with a few songs I can get behind.

I find myself being very skeptical here. Let's face it , I am sure this will be another lead single that does everything it can to sound so far out of left field. Since that is the thing to do nowadays
After enjoying their debut album, and casually liking Pioneer , I am not too optimistic. Especially writing with Pharrell and whoever the hell Diplo is. And all this artsy Fartsy stuff about visioning colors while recording?!? Just write a country song please.

Pharrell with TBP? Maybe even Diplo with TBP? I can't imagine what those would sound like... Should be interesting.
I'm cautiously optimistic because Pharrell and Diplo have done some great work but I'm not sure about them doing country songs...

I'm expecting different mixes of the first single for different formats and a try at a crossover hit.
