1. Leave the Pieces 2. Would You Go with Me 3. Want To And it's not a huge deal but I'm cringing at 'Wreckers.' They are The Wreckers.

And it's not a huge deal but I'm cringing at 'Wreckers.' They are The Wreckers. I notice you always have something to pick on me about in these polls, lol. Though the past times were 100% warranted. "Wreckers" is what they are credited as on the Billboard and Mediabase charts, so I guess I'm sub-consciously programmed to put them down without the "The". It doesn't make me cringe though. :)

It doesn't make me cringe though. :) Probably not the strongest case though, lol. I've only ever seen them as 'The Wreckers' and anything else looks wrong. And fwiw, it shows up as The Wreckers on Billboard. I don't mean to nitpick but I'm pretty observant about editing and I feel like I've noticed the same quality in you, so you shouldn't be too hard on me.

Bah, only one of my favorites made it to this round. RIP Dierks...
I voted for George, Josh, and the only Sugarland song I like.

Lol, I can't believe we are having a conversation about the fact I didn't use "The" before "Wreckers." I have a hard copy of every Billboard and R&R chart from 2005 through 2009 and many say "Wreckers" before "Leave The Pieces", "My, Oh My" and "Tennessee". This particular R&R issue from 5/5/2006 (scroll to page 41 and "Leave The Pieces" is at #31) shows up as "Wreckers" when you scroll down to the country chart -- I've looked at these things so many freakin' times its just been burned into my brain. Again, there is chart data that show up as 'The Wreckers' (even the R&R chart after they were bought by Nielsen from August to December of 2006, yet they went back to listing them as simply "Wreckers" at the start of 2007, lol), even more probably then "Wreckers", but there is a lot of charts that only have their band name without the "The." I know it's 'The Wreckers' and I'm not disputing that, but I'm just saying there's a reason why I typed their name without the 'The'. I do point out misspellings and egregious typos if I see them and I guess it takes one to know one, lol. I understand why it may bother a person's OCD though, no worries. BTW: I voted for 'Leave The Pieces" in round 2, so they wouldn't have even made it without my love for the song (though they just missed my top 3 this round).

Sorry, it really wasn't mean to be a big deal, and I'm sorry to have personally offended you if I did, but I cringed when I saw it listed that way because I love The Wreckers and I just thought that it looked off and incorrect. And quite frankly, I don't really care if BB chose to drop the 'The' from their name anyway, but I could understand why you may subconsciously do it if you follow the charts more than the band itself (which is what I did).

I'm not offended; it was actually interesting looking at the back and forth, lol. I actually don't think that R&R (Billboard) chose to remove 'The' from their name. I mean, I guess they might have but it really wouldn't make sense to consciously do that; I think that when their format layout changed at the start of 2007 they just simply forgot or didn't care enough to consider how they listed The Wreckers, who knows though. It's not as if they were hard pressed for space with The Wreckers singles since their only two singles in 2007 were "My, Oh My" and "Tennessee" -- a grand total of four words between the two titles.

"What Hurts the Most," "Want To," and "Give It Away." I love Dolly Parton, but I just can't take Brad Paisley.

Just one note: Billboard online public access data base: Be careful, the chart information given is (mostly) outdated, completely missing or outright wrong!
