It's been almost a month since I joined Pulse, and I've finally decided to start posting my personal charts which started in 2010. I had the 2010-2012 charts written down on notebooks, and I'm slowly inputting them into my computer! Point Rules:
top 10 = 150,000+ points
top 25 = 75,000+ points
top 40 = 37,500+ points
top 50 = 15,000+ points
top 75 = 7,500+ points
Certification Rules:
Gold = 500,000 points
Platinum = 1,000,000 points
2x Platinum = 2,000,000 points
3x Platinum = 3,000,000 points
and so on...
(you get the idea)
So on my chart, songs go gold and platinum (and maybe even 2x Platinum) really easily, but since turnover is relatively fast, anything from 3x Platinum might be harder for songs to reach. Btw, the #10 song on my 2014 year-end chart, Sia's "Chandelier", had 4.115 million points.
Songs eligible to chart:
- released as a single somewhere around the world (doesn't matter where)
- promotional singles
- songs that have had a major performance (for example, Taylor Swift's "All Too Well" was allowed to chart because of the Grammys)
- album tracks are eligible to chart on the release week of the album and may chart until it falls off, no re-entry allowed unless their status changes to one of the three that are listed above
- has a music video released
