"Special" is great, but always sounded more Pretenders than Garbage to me. "Vow" should have won this.
Beatles rock. My top from them hasn't changed in years, so it's time to scroll down the awesome discography once more. I'll probably watch "Sgt. Pepper's...." the movie just for Aerosmith playing the role of FVB again.

First timer on the rankdown. The Beatles are my favorite group. Excited to see everyone's picks!

I could do a top 100 and still miss songs I want, and that's not an exaggeration.
Can all 3 parts of "Golden Slumbers" (Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End) count as one song? If so, that's a big contender for me.

Oh lord, I'm tempted. At least to show that one poster from RT that I do really enjoy the Beatles.
To pick ten is gonna be difficult at best.

This is easily going to be the toughest Top 10 ever. I don't know how I'll even narrow this down to twenty songs without driving myself crazy on how to narrow it down.

maybe we should expand this to a top 20. I mean, it is The Beatles.

If anyone else also picks even just one song from my list, you will be my new favorite poster. When do these get revealed again?

If anyone else also picks even just one song from my list, you will be my new favorite poster. When do these get revealed again? Within 24 hours after the deadline.

So how many of us are gonna put "Revolution 9" at #9? Does that even count as a song?

was less difficult than I initially thought, and easier than some other bands. There were certain songs that just absolutely had to be in my top ten, leaving very limited spots for the others. Making top 20 would've been much harder for me with like 50+ candidates.
Help! - 2 Revolver - 2 White Album - 1 Abbey Road - 2 Let It Be - 1 Non-LP singles - 2
A bit surprised that I didn't include something from Sgt. Pepper or Rubber Soul.

Don’t kill me, but I’m not a Beatles fan at all. Will be sitting this one out.
However, I suggest we make an exception to do Queen next since the Bohemian Rhapsody movie just came out (which is really good by the way).

Submitted.
Please Please Me - 1 A Hard Day's Night - 1 Help! - 1 Rubber Soul - 1 Revolver - 1 Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - 1 Magical Mystery Tour - 1 The Beatles [White Album] - 1 Abbey Road - 2
Made a concerted effort to spread the love among the years, members, and styles. My biases became present anyway, though, so my picks were dominated by Lennon and the mellower numbers.

I made a playlist of only their singles if that helps anyone with their Top 10. There's 150 songs and it lasts 6 hours and 45 minutes. Enjoy!

Have y'all done Collective Soul? No, but I'm all for it if it's voted in. Probably in my Top 20-30 favorite bands of all-time. I know there's a certain someone who would hate this haha, but I hope others can vote for it as well.

Currently revisiting their discog. Great stuff

Submitted. I started out with ten ties, so this was super hard. They say if you prefer Paul McCartney vocals you are a popster, and if you prefer John Lennon then you are a rocker? I don't think that is true, but What you really have to ask yourself is? Are you a 'McCartney man" or a "Lennon man"
My breakdown
Lennon = 7
McCartney = 1
Lennon/McCartney = 2

A Hard Day's Night: 1 Rubber Soul: 2 Sgt. Pepper: 1 Magical Mystery Tour: 1 The White Album: 1 Abbey Road: 3 Let It Be (Naked): 1 This was so tough that I left off one of my favorite Beatles songs, a song that I thought was a lock for my top ten.. (For the record, it's my #11.) I could have put together a top 50 and left some strong songs out of it. Surprise, this was, easily, one of the toughest top tens I've put together. Submitted. I started out with ten ties, so this was super hard. They say if you prefer Paul McCartney vocals you are a popster, and if you prefer John Lennon then you are a rocker? I don't think that is true, but What you really have to ask yourself is? Are you a 'McCartney man" or a "Lennon man" The disrespect to Ringo, though... (No, but really, Harrison deserves more respect than that.)

Somehow, I just submitted. This was by far the hardest Top 10 to work on. I had 24 5/5 ratings, so there were well over 100 great songs that maybe could have competed for my Top 10 here. It literally took me at least the last hour to make final decisions on eliminating fourteen of the 5/5. There were many 4.5/5s too that I considered bumping up and maybe including them too. I'm guessing not one song or even five or ten of them are going to go running away with the votes in this one.

I think The Beatles have a good chance of breaking Deftones' record of most individual tracks selected.

Help!: 1 Rubber Soul: 1 Revolver: 1 Sgt. Pepper's: 1 Magical Mystery Tour: 1 The Beatles: 3 Abbey Road: 2
some songs that just missed the cut: Across the Universe, Let It Be, Oh! Darling, I Am the Walrus, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Tomorrow Never Knows, Till There Was You, and Twist and Shout. also, Abbey Road was my favorite album of theirs

The deadline's technically passed, but I won't be posting results until tomorrow...maybe around noon EST, for all you last-minute stragglers. If you're still interested and can get it in within then, please let me know ASAP.

You'd think a band with such a vast discography and so many legendary songs wouldn't have a clear winner...but they did. View your responses here!

Interesting that 3 George songs made the top 10, as well as 4 Abbey Road songs.
Surprised "All You Need Is Love" didn't make anyone's top ten (mine neither), anyone notice any other singles or popular Beatles track that didn't make the list?
