Thise songs were vile, nasty, filth, obscene Mariah? Is that you? Still bitter? Mariah doesn't even know her. It's just a complaining poster.

Has she had a hit since 2002 during the bizarre Ja Rule fad? I still believe those number ones were strictly payola, and to support that, they remain virtually non-existent on recurrent gold charts, and always have been. You seem fairly unknowledgable about her career . On the floor was A huge top 5 , 3 million seller . To a lesser extent dance again also did well , a top 20 million seller And besides her recent resurgence she had tons of success in 2003 and moderate success in 2005 with get it right

I haven't cared for anything of hers since "On the Floor" (I feel like I might've liked one more, but don't remember). She's gotten very samesy these past few years. This better not feature Pitbull.

A.K.A. was one of my favorite albums last year, and that description sounds like what I appreciate J.Lo for most, so, in the words of Mariah, TRY IT ON ME

I hope it's a return to dance/edm style. One of my favorite songs from her is actually "Live It Up"!! It's a great gym song. A second favorite would be "Dance Again", then "On The Floor".

As much as I love dance-pop/EDM-ish J. Lo (I love her three singles with Pitbull), I kind of feel like that would flop hard and I don't think she wants another flop after how all of her singles after "Live It Up" bombed... (maybe she can be a featured artist on a EDM artist's song though) The "fun, hi energy, Latin flair, global, timely" description has got me excited! I really want a J. Lo song to smash again!

Is "Live It Up" considered EDM? I think of EDM sounding more like Selena Gomez's last single with Zedd. I don't know maybe because the beat was harder than a lot of EDM songs that do well at CHR I don't think of it as typical EDM? I still LOVE the song and thought it was going to do better. I loved the breakdowns before the chorus's and the "Let's F--ck Tonight" parts of the song.

I wasn't surprised at "Live It Up" not doing so well because dance-pop was on its way out by the time it was released. By 2013, EDM (Calvin Harris, Zedd etc.) had taken over.

First Love was excellent and I'm pissed it didn't do much. Because of that we can probably expect more desperate "Booty" type trash from her.

The melody wasn't bad for "First Love" but those lyrics were embarrassing. Really, a kindergartener could have come up with something better than "cause if you were first baby there would have been no 2nd 3rd or 4th love."
I always wonder how horrible lyrics like that slip through the cracks. Like, how many people heard that song before it was released and didn't say "hey, let's change up that line and make it better"?

I really liked "First Love" as well but, I remember when I played it for a few people their reaction was more "it's ok, I guess I like it? I think it may have been like that for others as well. I don't think it was offensive to people but I don't think they cared enough about to buy it or stream it much. If I remember correctly it didn't sell very well even when it was getting some ok airplay.

I actually thought it was "cause if you were first baby there would've been no second that I fought love" for a long time. At any rate, I don't see what's so bad about the lyric either way. It's a J Lo pop song, lyrics are not going to be the priority.
