Hopefully this will show up in Mediabase's Sunday night update when recurrents are removed. It has to be close.

Hopefully this will show up in Mediabase's Sunday night update when recurrents are removed. It has to be close. There's only going to be one song removed ("Young & Crazy"), so that means just one song will appear at #50 tonight. Waterloo Revival and Lucy Angel are likely candidates as well.

Is there any news on this song? I haven't heard much about it. This is just such a great song... I hope it can start moving on up.

Rough week this week...slips 49-52, and loses a small amount of audience. Hopefully this turns around next week.

Reba will forever be my favorite female artist. However, it has become clear her radio career, sadly, is over.

Reba will forever be my favorite female artist. However, it has become clear her radio career, sadly, is over. Pretty much. This also means we probably won't see many more albums for her. The lack of support from radio during the All The Woman I Am era discouraged her from putting out new music too. I was hoping she'd fare better with the new album as there are some seriously incredible songs on the album.

There are a lot of iconic artists who no longer receive airplay, but because of their loyal fan-base, their albums sell well. This is both true for artists in country and outside of country music.

This is true and I agree that Reba can and should continue releasing music regardless of how radio reacts to it, because like George Strait and other older "legends," she can still sell well. That said, he was making a valid point about how Reba responded to the mediocre peaks of the singles from her last album by taking another break and trying something else, but since her last TV show failed, I imagine she'll be more inclined to stick with music for the time being.

Reba MUST record a roots album. Greats like Dolly, Patty Loveless, Kathy Mattea, Roseanne Cash, among others have recorded some of the best music after their radio careers were over going back to the music that made them falling in love with singing in the first place. I would love a Oklahoma influenced roots album from Reba (Originals and covers)! That's probably my greatest music wish. She did some of this on "Reba Live" and those are my favorite tracks from that album. Also she could do a "Duets 2." And I know I read somewhere she recorded a Christmas album 5 years ago or so that never was released. Reba has got to get some of this stuff done before the decade is over.

Reba's sold nearly 200k of this album. If radio had played any of these songs more, ignoring age and other factors, it'd likely have sold even more than it has.

I thought that this would of done at least what the lead single did, its a much better song but. i feel like there is no buzz around her anymore and am very disappointed. This is a wonderful album and I hope we continue to get new Reba music regardless of how ignorant country radio is.

She's affiliated with Cumulus...that's factor #1 why "Until They Don't Love You" won't do much on the charts. iHeartMedia and CBS would rather not help the competitor and unfortunately with Reba signed to Nash Icon, she's part of the Cumulus family. I know it sounds stupid on the surface but that's just reality. I will say that her age would have always been a contributor, no mater what label situation she was on. Older artists tend to get pushed off the airwaves. Her affiliation with Nash Icon just accelerated that. She still gets massive airplay on Cumulus owned stations and Westwood One, so even though she can't get hits on radio anymore, I think the exposure on Cumulus at her age might actually be a good move on Reba's part since her airplay was going to decrease anyway, so why not at least have one radio conglomerate play the living heck out of you.

Oh I know, sabre14, I was just stating the obvious about her sales being higher if they still played her. Because many fans who do like her don't even know the new record is available.

Any word on if there will be a video?
It could still keep chugging along but this is why I kind of wanted Just Like Them Horses. Reba went safe with her debut single. Once that kind of push is gone, I felt like she needed to just go risky. Plus, I need a live performance of that song.

I like "Until They Don't Love You" a lot as well, but JLTH is my favorite song on the album. I heard UTDLY on a small station today (it's an independent station that's not even on any of the monitored MB or BB panels), and then about 2 hours later, that same station played "Going Out Like That". :)

Are you sure? www.aol.com/article/2015/04/01/reba-mcentire-i-didnt-think-radio-would-play-my-new-album/21160371/"I didn't think I was going to have to record a new album at all. I didn't feel any need and you know, I've been in the business for quite a long time and I didn't think radio would play my music on the radio anymore, so I thought, what's the point?" she explained. She has mentioned several times after the disaster All The Women I Am that she would rather focus on other projects. In another five years, we'll see if there is another one. When she's doing well on radio, she pushes stuff out quickly. But the second she struggles she runs. She did it when she was with MCA after So Good Together didn't live up to her previous success and opted to focus on her television show instead. That's why we ended up with a rehashed Greatest Hits Volume 3 and waited forever for Room to Breathe. When Somebody only hit # 1 thanks to Payola and exposed the industry again, she stepped away again. Then a couple years later the singles from #1s faltered and she vanished again until Duets. Where she hit pay dirt and we ended up with Duets, followed closely by the Hallmark Exclusive with new music. That was a success and we ended up with Keep On Loving You the following year. Consider Me Gone was a massive hit for her. She followed up the album with All The Women I Am, which started off good and then tumbled. Radio didn't help any of the additional singles to get above a top 20 with the other 2 hitting top 40. She bailed for television again. Then her television show bailed. Her sales and singles are lower than they were at that point. I'd bet a year's worth of pay she won't be back before 2017 with an actual new album if it happens (and this is only because it's the 40th anniversary of her debut album). If she allows 40 years to pass, it'll likely be 2020 if a new album does happen. Also don't think I am giving her hell. I've been a Reba fan for the bulk of her career, I am just seeing a pattern and pointing it out.

Yeah, I can definitely see why people might think she will stop making music (or even just wait a really long time) after this album due to the lack of radio success it was met with. She has disappeared before, just about every time her success starts to slip.
However, I will point out that all the other times before, she was competing for mainstream radio play. I think the artists signing with Nash Icon know that decreased radio play is more than likely part of the deal, due to their affiliation with only the Cumulus stations. It is a major label that can hopefully give them sales success and a little bit of radio success, but huge hits are definitely not guaranteed. I think Reba may have to look at this album from the perspective of what label she is on and realize that it has been quite successful thus far. It has sold quite well given her age and lack of hits, and "Goin' Out Like That" was still a top 30 hit despite only being on a fraction of the radio stations! Hopefully she will realize that this is a perfect opportunity for her to branch out creatively since she is on a label that will very likely continue to promote her and try to generate sales despite a lack of radio support.

At this point, I'd like to see her do another tv show but not necessarily one that is created for her. I would love to see her get a role on "Nashville"! I'd like to see her try a dramatic role, though I think comedy is more in her wheelhouse.

She has also said before that she doesn't want to be one of those people who hang on way past their prime. It was a long time ago (15 years maybe) so I don't have a link or anything, but I distinctly remember her saying that if people weren't interested in her music anymore, than she wouldn't continue putting out album after album. Maybe we're starting to see that come to life? Not that I'm implying this project isn't a success, because it absolutely is for what it is. But, I don't expect Reba to put out albums that sell next to nothing for a long time. I do believe that she'll eventually stop recording, but continue to tour occasionally and pursue other projects (and also record with other people). I'm still hoping "Until They Don't Love You" will pick it up a bit. I think having two Nash Icons singles out right now is hurting it slightly.

Perhaps but this one's chart run is expected given the tough competition on the charts along with this being the second single off her album. "Until They Don't Love You" is just not getting any help from outside Cumulus stations right now, which "Going Out Like That" was at least able to slowly muster. I will say that Ronnie's song is in higher rotation overall but Reba's song should have its spin increased to heavier rotation soon on the Cumulus stations. I think a top 50-45 peak is where this one will peak.
