Kenny's cover looks like something he would of released earlier in his career. Guess it's the way he's dressed.

^Hmmm...that's almost the same album as her #1's album from a few years ago. A few added songs, but for the most part the same.

Thanks--it appears as though the new duet with Keith Urban is being rushed to radio now, but pushing that CD back would be a beter idea, IMHO.

Kenny Chesney's album cover is BORING. Same old thing with no surprises. The song titles are boring too. Another beach CD. I've never understood the Kenny Chesney craze and I don't think I ever will. I've really tried to listen to some of his songs but I just don't get it :(

What a great album from Reba! I didn't get her #1's album so I'll be picking this one up. It's awesome to be able to get all her top 10's on one album! I agree it's a great tracklisting, but it's very similar to her #1s CD. I'll definitely still be getting it when it's released, but I wish there was a new song or two on there - or at least something else from Reba Duets to be used as a single.

I'm REAL glad they're not including "Tangled Up" on Billy's new CD. Let's just please forget about that one.

The following is a message from Henry Paul (BlackHawk) on the band's website. BlackHawk LiveThe new "Blackhawk's Greatest Hits Live" will be in our hands the 25th of this month. For a while this record will only be available to Blackhawk fan club members. The new "meet and greet" passes are designed and manufactured and are ready to be sent out with new fan club membership packages. The live record will be released in September to traditional retail record outlets. We are releasing "Love Like This" as a single to radio and will do our best to promote it and make sure it does as good as it can do. I know you've watched two record labels go out of business back to back and leave the promise of new music from Blackhawk vanish into thin air. No one has been more disappointed than myself and the group in these unfortunate circumstances. Career moves are being made to bring Blackhawk back to it's rightful place in country music and to insure we stay there for the foreseeable future. We got a new sense of energy and commitment and we're movin' on like "There Ain't No Yesterday."
-Henry-This is now available in various Best Buy stores and can also be purchased online from Amazon.com, WalMart.com, Target.com, etc.

Does anyone have a guess as to why many Christmas CDs only include 10 or so songs?
There are SOOO many Xmas songs and generally the songs are shorter so you'd think they could do 14 or 15 songs. Maybe they keep it open to release other Christmas CDs down the road. Or maybe the labels don't want to dump a ton of money for studio time of recording and mixing for a CD that really is only going to sell very little compared to a 'studio' release.
Not a big deal, I just couldn't resist bringing it up as it seems to be so common. Perhaps I answered my own question and this entire reply is now irrelevant :)

i know that the few Christmas albums I have all have at least 13 tracks on it. i own Brad Paisley's and Toby Keith's most recent Christmas albums and Martina McBride's original Christmas album and they all have a lot of songs. But i have noticed that a lot of albums that are coming out nowadays are just 10 or 11 songs. i bet it is to save money since CD sales are dropping so dramatically. I think its dumb because i am way more likely to buy the whole album if there is a bunch of songs on it.
