From the latest iHeartMedia Music Summit recap, it looks like this is coming to pop soon:

This doesnt even sound Poppish and its way more country like and isnt this song already dead in country?. The country song that needs to come to Pop is Canaan Smith - Love You Like That. Thats an amazing country song that has better Pop appeal, dont you think?

Thats an amazing country song that has better Pop appeal, dont you think? This is far poppier than Love You Like That. The lyrical content would also sink the Canaan Smith song's chances, as pop tastemakers (and listeners) are going to identify with "pretty city boys."

Thats an amazing country song that has better Pop appeal, dont you think? Might be her twang. The computerized sounding banjo and pop like beat on "Love Me Like You Mean It" make the song a logical choice to try and push at Pop. They could leave it as is, or even do a slight remix to make it even more pop leaning than it already is and I think it'd be good to go. No clue how well it will do, but I could see it at least having a chance at something. I'm not a fan of the song and personally and am so ready for it to just go away, but I'm not surprised this is happening. I don't see the appeal of "Love You Like That" period... and even with a pop remix, I think that one would be a really tough sell.

A slight remix on the guitars and I think this would have a shot

I hate blatant Country/Pop crossover songs, and this one is definitely not going to change my opinion. Garbage.

I don't know - I find this type of crossover (one that always occupied the middle space between pop and country) more honest and admirable than those songs that are "transformed" into pop songs via a new drum beat and/or rap verse. I don't see a song like this as conceptually lesser than something like Walk the Moon's "Shut Up and Dance," which was a blatant rock/pop crossover.

I'm a huge fan of this song and this girl so I'd love to see this be a successful crossover hit. This song still has always sounded country to me despite the poppier production, but I do think it has potential to be at least a minor crossover hit and I'd love it if Kelsea could continue to expand and grow her fanbase more and more. This could be something to help further that.

This sounds great. I love how you can hear the pop sound in with the country and this is a crossover hit that I wouldn't mind having happen. Who knows, this could end up being huge if pushed properly.

I think Hot AC would eat this up if they pushed it there. Might be a tough battle to push it here after seeing how "Take Your Time" performed.

Wow suddenly a bunch (just 3 that I'm aware of but that's a lot more than just "Take Your Time" which is the only country crossover song to CHR this year so far IIRC) of country songs are crossing over to pop! I'll definitely be rooting for this one as I really like this song. I think it has the potential to do better than "Take Your Time" on pop and HAC.

To be honest, i'm happy she had success with this song because country charts really need more women (they have enough men singing exactly the same song) but this is not as good as Take your time or Girl crush, and it's not a great pure country song like Burning house or Merry go round that i want to crossover. It's a poppier and feel good song, but if i have to chose a country song to have success on pop it won't be this

I've been saying for months that they should push this to CHR. A poppier mix could help it, but I don't think it necessarily needs it. She reminds me of an early Taylor and I hope this song does crossover. It seems a bit late, but then I always think of how Carrie's "Before He Cheats" crossed over to pop months after it peaked on country radio. So I don't think it's too late yet.
Plus, if anything is actually going to become a crossover hit, I'd much rather it be this than one of those terrible country/rap remix collaborations.
