Apparently Nick Jonas may have more than one song coming soon, as a couple tweets surfaced yesterday about a music video being shot for a new Nick Jonas single called "Levels." Then he tweeted confirming it's out next week and he'll perform it for for the VMAs pre-show.

So which is the radio single? This or "Under You"? Apparently, this one. However, I don't know if they are going to do a dual release, which could be a possibility, or scrap "Under You".

Secondhand embarrassment for Nick because of that awkward ass video.

"I have a ginormous.." *faints*
Hopefully it isn't a dual release. Maybe they didn't get a good reaction to Under You? The snippet didn't sound bad, but not amazing either

If this and "Under You" are both the new singles, it's likely that they are from a brand new album. Maybe they didn't get a good reaction to Under You? The snippet didn't sound bad, but not amazing either Perhaps it was due to the underperformance of "Good Thing" which "Under You" bears a slight resemblance to. And Jason DeRulo's "Cheyenne" which also sounds like that hasn't been selling all that well though its airplay is respectable. There has been very little promo in the U.S. for it so it's possible that promo could help that. "Good Thing" had almost no promo. The dual single thing can work in some instances especially if one single is more Pop and the other is more Rhythmic/Urban, but if radio is split and some stations choose one and others choose the other, then it can be messy. It's rare that it can work well. I cannot really think of that many instances where that sort of strategy worked properly outside of Beyonce's I Am... Sasha Fierce album where she released two singles representing each of the two concepts (one Pop and one Urban), though it did work for a time. A few of the singles overtook the other, especially in the case of "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" which took on a life of its own. I don't think they would try something like that at this stage of Nick's recording career.

I know The Hills wasn't meant to be a single, or as far as we know or smth, but it effectively is now, I guess, and both are obviously doing well. I agree about Nick's career, Jealous did well, and Chains did decent after a multitude of performances, but Good Thing flopped. I'm not even sure if one new single will work from him, let alone two at once

If this is in fact the brand new single from the new album I hope that this MTV performance is not the only type of promotion it will receive because clearly he needs to get out there and do some promo. Nick posted a video on Instagram and it has audio clip of the instrumental of the new song http://instagram.com/p/6V0imPEVTw And another one http://instagram.com/p/6V8G3yEVRb It sounds like the love child of "Jealous" and "Can't Feel My Face". It sounds like it will have a sexy bassline.

Love the second clip. I'm excited to hear this! I'm still disappointed "Teacher" wasn't released and a huge hit, but oh well.

Can move this to pop as it's the official radio single. Impacts 8/25.
By the way, are we 100% sure this isn't "Under You?" The teaser definitely sounds different from the song we heard in that iHeart clip...but I don't know, a lyric like "Under You" seems like it could be part of a song called "Levels."

Yeah for all we know this could have been renamed. A song would probably get better reception if it was named "Levels" over "Under You" lol. Something minor, but does get looked at.
ETA: The Republic Playbook listing has the album's cover for the single cover, so this is probably for a rerelease (unless that's a temporary placeholder).

That looks like a very low budget cover lol Maybe this time the money was spent on personal trainers baby oil and leather bondage wear for the video. #TheSexualizationOfNickJonas6.9

Ooh, those instrumental clips sound super promising. Why are all his (official) visuals always so cheap, though? Both videos and art.

Please don't try to make "MoonBabes" happen. Maybe he gets kidnapped by some "moonbabes" in the video and they explore his sexuality?

I'm looking forward to this. Loved a handful of songs off his last album (especially Chains), and from the snippets on the two videos, I don't think this will disappoint.

Pretty sure Nick Jonas isn't confused. He just knows how to market to a (desperate) gay audience.
Anyway, this sounds sooooooooeaux good.

We won't turn down someone who enjoys shamelessly flaunting their sexy, buff body. He has the talent too so he is the full package.
