First time I'm commenting on next week's chart thread without knowing this week's chart.

^Because the charts have not been posted as of yet. Yeah, the 'new' chart week has really taken the fun out of chart watching. Who'd have thought we'd have to wait longer to get data.

CFMF should return to #1 this week. It has a more notable lead in sales and airplay now and I'm assuming Cheerleader is just about peaking in streaming.
Prediction:
1. Can't Feel My Face (5% lead) 2. Cheerleader 3. Watch Me 4. Lean On 5. Fight Song 6. The Hills 7. Locked Away 8. Trap Queen 9. Bad Blood 10. Good For You

UPDATED Aug. 18, 2:15 p.m.: This story has been updated to reflect new chart data, which was reprocessed by Nielsen Music following the story's original Monday posting. As a result, Lana Del Rey's "High By the Beach" debuts at No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 instead of No. 7. On Digital Songs, it debuts at No. 10 instead of No. 1, with 67,000 sold, instead of 248,000, as originally reported. I really hope Photograph can make the top 10! Such a great song... Agree + I want Cool For The Summer also :) Demi deserves higher peak than it's #9 and CFTS is amazing.

It's the first Hot 100 chart dated for September and Uptown Funk is still in the Top 20 for airplay

I'm actually interested in how billboard always gonna decide which song wins the week when there's a close race going on (like last week) As far as I can remember, the following weeks are under the label of "really close race" between no.1&2 since 2013:
The 1st, 9th week "royals" at the top Loser: roar (no.1-->2) the monster (no.2--2)
The 3rd week "timber" at the top Loser: dark horse (no.4-->2)
The 1st week "all of me" at the top Loser: problem (debut no.3 sooo close and fishy!!!)
The 1st week "rude" at the top Loser: fancy (no.1-->2)
The 6th week "rude" at the top Loser: all about that bass (no.4-->2)
Pretty much the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th week "all about that bass" at the top Loser: Shake it off (no.2--2--2--2--2)
The 1st week "uptown funk" at the top Loser: blank space (no.1-->2)
The 1st week "bad blood" at the top Loser: see you again (no.1-->2)
The 4th, 5th week "cheerleader" at the top Loser: can't feel my face (no.2 on both)
The 1st week "can't feel my face" at the top Loser: cheerleader (no.1-->2)
Notes: A. "Royals" is such a darling of billboard! It wins both the close races and never ranked at no.2 (either 1 or 3) B. John Legend is more favorable than Ariana? C. "Rude"'s points at its tier were low as hell but why was this song lucky enough to score 6 weeks atop? 'Cuz it's reggae and stuff? D. Billboard's just a hater of Taylor Swift huh? Not to mention "out of the wood"'s CMA was all deducted and didn't make top 10!! (If CMA is supposed to deduct then "a sky full of stars" should've peaked at no.24 rather than no.10) E. "Uptown funk" was well-treated, because it's funky? F. Wondering why OMI was ruling for a month while the Weeknd a week when their points were almost the same? Because OMI does raggae stuff and billboard LOVES to write something about those "uncommon" genres
Conclusion: A. Billboard is in favor of newly charted artists, like, really really new. Lorde, John legend (billboard even sabotaged "happy"'s streaming just wanted this song to be no.1, fair?), Meghan trainor, OMI.. B. In the same token, relatively old acts like Ariana, Eminem, the Weeknd, Taylor swift can all suck it!! ---- from billboard hot 100 C. Billboard wants things to be "diverse" enough so that it can dig "reggae" or something D. Billboard can be hell inconsistent as well.. It should be really really notorious about its "super nice" way to treat the statistics of streaming.. It just doesn't use the accurate data sometimes and now it doesn't dare to do that no mo..

Hi, I'm new here, is there an ignore/block feature on this forum? Thanks. Go to that user's profile and in the upper right corner, there's a Settings button. Click that and one of the 2 things that'll pop up will be "Block Member." Then, it'll give you a few options on HOW you want to block that user.

Hi, I'm new here, is there an ignore/block feature on this forum? Thanks. But I've heard they do have a "banning" feature which kicks obnoxious member like myself out of this forum!

So it looks like Take Your Time, Slow Motion, and Love You Like That have gone recurrent this week. Like A Wrecking Ball (51-53) and El Perdón (75-73) stay on the chart in their 21st respective weeks because they gained in performance according to Billboard.
and I know some people on here will be very happy about this: Black Magic by Little Mix debuts at #99 this week!
