Yeah, it sounds like a hit. It's right in line with the tropical/reggae electro-pop songs that seems to be gaining traction at pop radio.

I already like this more than the godawful Cheerleader. It does sound a lot like Replay to me.

Cheerleader is atrocious, makes Rude look like a decent song
Cheerleader is big enough for radio give his second single a chance, sales will be the key (like they were the key for Nico and Vinz flopping with their second single)

I wonder how the original follow up single to Cheerleader would have done if -re-released and slightly remixed as well.
I think it deserves to be a single at some pint cause its very cathcy and it is the best compared to his other single/video like "Take It Easy" which is abit weak but "Firework" is decent though.
OMI - Standing On All Threes *The original 2nd single* to his debut "Cheerleader"

I actually kinda like this. "Cheerleader" was a roller coaster for me (hated, then loved, then hated, then loved, and now hate).

I like this except for the Hula Hoop part. He sounds strange when he says it.

It's a less memorable derivative of Cheerleader, but this is cute; I can see it going top 10. It's starting to look like this kind of vibe is 'in' now instead of just a one-off.

I am very impressed because I thought I wouldn't like this, but, dang, this is good. Sounds like a hit and could do some damage on the charts. Nicely done.

Even if it sounds like a hit I think it's going to be completely rejected by America.

#1284 in the US. Why doesn't this/the album pre-order have any placement on the front page?

Well obviously, because if he did this song without the same "tropical house" style remix from Cheerleader, it would probably bomb. So he obviously recognizes that he needed that remix to get a hit, hence why this is in the same style

Why isn't this selling well in the US? It should have a front page ad.

Maybe it's just me, but the sax part kinda reminds me of this track:
