I know this album got criticism for being to pop/polished/white/MOR/safe etc. etc. based on reviews and articles I've read. But I still think this is a fantastic album regardless and definitely my favorite from her. The melodies are great and I find the songs really catchy. I think it gets overshadowed by her debut, when I think this one is just as good if not better. My favorite cuts are "Didn't We Almost Have It All", "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", "So Emotional", "You're Still My Man" and "I know Him So Well". This was the first album by a female to debut at #1 on Billboard (staying there for 11 consecutive weeks), going 9x platinum, spawning 4 #1 Hot 100 hits, including her 7th consecutive. As well as four #1 CHR/Pop hits, three #1 AC hits, and three #1 Hot Dance hits.

I love me some Where Do Broken Hearts Go!
Some of the album tracks are great as well. Love Will Save The Day is a mess though...

I love "So Emotional" but I never got into the other singles, "I Wanna Be Overrated with Somebody" particularly.

This was a great album and a classic. I love "Just The Lonely Talking Again" and "For The Love Of You".

Great album! I loved all the singles. The first time I heard "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" I loved it. Whitney was performing at our local Kiss concert and I think she debuted it there. Or it was one of her first live performances of it? They played it on the radio. I was 9 in a half at the time so I don't completely remember??? Back then we didn't have the internet so you had to catch those special moments or you missed it. lol I always thought they could have released "Your Still My Man" at the time if they wanted and I liked "Where You Are" as well. "Just The Lonely Talking Again" is great to. Very soulful. The only song I didn't care for that much was fan favorite "For The Love Of You". I never really got into it like a lot of her other fans did.
