This was a song from his album, "The 20/20 Experience," released in 2013. It was produced by Timbaland, Justin and Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon and written by those three, plus James Fauntleroy. Although it was never a single, it peaked at #43 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, thanks to digital sales. This was something a little different from him. He said that it was inspired by Radiohead. I don't listen to this one as much as the rest of the album, but I love it, when I'm in the mood for it.

This is one of my favorites on the album. It's so beautiful. I love the haunting, layered production. The composition of the vocals and the way they are structured are amazing. This song reminds me of Madonna's "Mer Girl" which was also the closer on the album it appears on. It feels as if it is cut from the same cloth even though that seems totally unintentional. Jaden and Willow Smith did a track called "Blue Ocean" which is based on the reversed sample that is looped throughout the song. The chorus is also used in that song.

This is quite easily my favorite song from that album (which was overhyped as a whole but still had some good songs on it). I love the whole atmosphere of it and even though it don't listen to it as much as I used to it's held up well.

Perfect album closer (I pretend those bonus tracks don't exist). Love the instrumental on this one. And it's a nice comedown after the loudness of "Mirrors."
