I was going to a video today about the most popular songs of 2010 according to Billboard.and literally every comment there was "music was so much better then, music today is crap and has no meaning" or "this was thebest year in music", and I'm like "this was only 5 years ago, it wasn't that much different and do people even listen to these lyrics?", and literally every video of an older song is like this, I've of course have made that statement before becoming open minded, so in your opinion why are people like this even to music that wasn't that long ago? And please answer in a constructive and respectful manner, and that's related to the subject matter.
