On April 4, 1964 while Beatlemania was in full swing, the charts had something massive: The Beatles had the entire top 5, a feat that has never been matched. However there were also 12 songs by the Beatles from their "Meet the Beatles" album on the Hot 100, the entire album. Next week on the 11th while the top 5 record was gone, the Beatles had 14 of their songs on the chart. However, the April 4 chart I must emphasize that it was all off of the same album. Drake was able to match the 14 songs on the Hot 100 in 2015 but out of those songs only 10 were from the same album, "If you're reading this then it's too late." Today, the Weeknd was able to get 11 songs from his album "Beauty Behind the Madness." onto the hot 100 today, putting him in second place in this regard when it comes to most singles on the hot 100 from a single album. Congrats Weeknd, you almost beat the Beatles.

Not sure why this gets its own thread. True Drake tied the record earlier this year. True The Beatles had 14 songs on the Hot 100 that was the sole record holder until this year.
Not true that there were 12 songs from 'Meet The Beatles' charting simultaneously
But regardless,
Comparing digital/streaming era marks to what the Beatles did brings up the following questions:
What would have happened if album tracks were allowed to chart in 1964? Could the Beatles have managed more than 14 at the same time? What would have happened if the standard for American albums of this era were longer than 12 tracks?
Drake tied the mark earlier this year, only a matter of time before someone beats it.

The Beatles' 12 songs that charted on April 4, 1964 were not all from the same album. Not all of the songs on Meet the Beatles were even released as singles. I guess the Weeknd holds the record then.
