I love Justin Bieber but wow that was a really good cover! I'm hoping that "Crazy Over Me" is a sign of things to come from Dylan Scott because I didn't care for his first couple releases, but his current single is one of my favorite male releases on radio in recent times, easily. He has a great voice. <3

I love the song from Bieber and I've been playing it a lot for the last few weeks but I think Dylan's cover may just take over! I love his voice and he's getting better as he goes on. I'm hoping he'll get his album out and that he can become big enough to start getting better material offered to him.
I really hate how many of Curb's artists I end up loving but then never get to actually buy their music because they can't get them hits. Seeing Dylan so close to breaking out has been such a tease and if it dies anytime soon I'll be so frustrated.

Even though "Crazy Over Me" has lost 100 spins and 200k in audience over the past seven days (60 spins lost today) and has gained virtually no Mediabase audience over the past three weeks, Curb put a big ad in one of the three Aircheck emails this evening, so they're definitely still pushing this one. I think the amount of big named artists with new singles (Luke, Blake, Thomas, Eric), along with Curb's recent struggles in promotion the past few years, is why this one has has hit a snag, even with good sales and research. Curb won't let this one go until they've exhausted every avenue.

Wow, even taking out the Saturday update of losing 300k in audience. "Crazy Over Me" has still lost over 100 spins, this week and the audience losses also are still bad enough for Dylan Scott to go recurrent. I'm thinking that "Crazy Over Me" will go recurrent on BB sorry :'(

Ugh, this is selling incredibly well for where it is at on the chart and it definitely had all the makings of being a breakthrough hit. It'll be a damn travesty if it isn't and more proof that Curb Records has no idea how to turn something into a success on the charts anymore.

I think it has more to do with the fact that Curb has such a sh**ty relationship with radio as a whole more than anything. Curb clearly has the songs that people will buy (this song is proof) but radio clearly isn't the biggest fan of Curb at all, so even despite being such a strong selling song, radio doesn't want much to do with Curb, I mean they have Lee Brice but that's about it and I'm starting to believe that Lee will be the only Curb artist radio accepts (at least until Lee Brice becomes irrelevant, whenever that might be).

"Crazy Over Me" is selling well largely because of SiriusXM airplay and a big discount on iTunes (it's been priced at only $0.69 for several weeks now). Given the reasons for Dylan's good sales, I don't think there's enough evidence to suggest that this song is substantially more popular than other songs that are in the 30's, 40's, and 50's on the airplay charts.

"Crazy Over Me" has lost 1.4 million in Mediabase audience over the past 23 days and they only reason this won't go recurrent on Mediabase this Sunday is because of a 6 spin gain on the March 14th issued chart (retained its bullet).
It's quite unfortunate this one stalled so quickly. On the February 29th issued chart, this song gained over 800k in MB audience and garnered 8 adds. Since then Dylan's song has lost well over 100 spins and 1.4 million in audience. What's funny is that WYRK has been the one station really helping "Crazy Over Me" lately (15 spin increase this week, lol).
It lost another 200k in audience on Mediabase today, so I think despite Curb's efforts, this one is on life support.

Dylan didn't have a bullet on March 7, March 14, or March 21. That's 3 weeks in a row, Billboard. Lol.

May be Curb got to Billboard and said "Hey, we're trying to recover this one, so hold off on the recurrency."? Other than that, I don't have an explanation. Dylan's song is on life-support. I don't know why Billboard keeps doing this, unless they made up new rules along the way that they haven't shed light on.

It looks like Curb will let "Crazy Over Me" go as Dylan lost 98 spins and 340k in audience today (losses of 110 spins and 500k in audience since Sunday). Its Mediabase peak was #34; Billboard peak was #36.
