Did anyone watch this on Sat. It was being aired all day on MSNBC. I believe their was a shortened version on that evening as well. I forgot it was on but am watching it On Demand. So far so good. Coldplay was entertaining. Chris Martin seems like a nice guy. He also brought out Ariana Grande for a number.
The talented Tori Kelly is on now. She performed "Nobody Love", "City Dove" and "It Should Have Been Us".
I'm only on Pt 2 but I believe Beyonce, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran and more are still to come.

If you haven't seen this Beyonce was AMAZING. She did a lot of new choreography and did some songs I didn't expect her to perform. It's definitely worth watching it on You Tube or if it''s still On Demand.

I just won tickets during the 6th (and final wave) of giveaways today! I had so many issues with the app (apparently, so did everyone else) and, after e-mailing the Google Play store, the bugs were fixed. Then, my account reset the other day and it said I had 11 points when 25 are needed to even enter to win tickets but they entered me into the raffle anyway and I won! This year, it's Metallica, Rihanna, Major Lazer, with special guests Usher, Ellie Goulding, Yusuf/Cat Stevens, Chris Martin, and Eddie Vedder...oh and some Disney girl named Demetria. Super excited!

So many people won tickets and are trying to sell them. Meanwhile, I can't even GIVE one away to one of my friends LOL. I have one HS friend who, when I mentioned it to him, was like "Yeah, I wasn't about to do any of those challenges or whatever" so he is automatically disqualified from getting my ticket. Another random acquaintance who only contacts me when I have something he wants predictably reached out to me on FB saying "I would be honored to go!" Great! So, I asked him what he has done, in terms of giving back and proving that he is a Global Citizen, to deserve the ticket. Silence. #oop. I am going to wind up going alone and giving the ticket to someone who tried to get tickets legitimately but was unable.

I bought VIP tickets and I STILL did some of the activities. I work and volunteer in the non-profit world. It doesn't hurt to do something good for others.

SLAYED by Metallica, Demi Lovato's live voice, Kendrick, and Rihanna. WOW. What a SHOW! I loved how they reminded people that it was about being a global citizen and showed us the different things they care about and gave real, human stories, even using celebrities to do it. Very impressed with this event. The lines were terrible and the food lines were also terrible but I didn't mind what I ate, actually. Some chipotle chicken wrap with peppers.
Also, I love Rihanna's dance moves and her band. She puts on such a great show. Very entertaining. A true superstar.

The show was great overall.
Just let down that Rihanna didn't do Kiss It Better.
This was the biggest music festival that I attended and I'd consider doing it again next year.

I think this was actually the smallest festival I've attended. Despite the name, I don't even consider it a festival, per se...more like one big concert, idk. Then again, I usually go to 3-4 day festivals like Governor's Ball, Coachella, Lollapalooza, SXSW, and ACL.
