I have a feeling there are two candidates that will take the cake, but let's see.

"Hummingbird Heartbeat" and "Walking on Air" should've been singles. I can't argue with the lineup for Teenage Dream though since it all went well, but WOA could've definitely replaced one of the last two Prism singles. Hummingbird is my fave of the two though so I voted for that.

Definitely Legendary Lovers! It would have been huge and I would have preffered it instead of This Is How We Do.. Walking On Air, as well could have been my second choice. Both tracks that should have been.

Anything other than This Is How We Do would have been great, especially Walking on Air.

Legendary Lovers with ease from these choices.
HH would have been a hit, but all 8 singles were bigger than it would have been, so to call it a missed opportunity is misleading.

Peacock. Song went platinum without ever hitting the Hot 100.

It's definitely between Peacock, Hummingbird Heartbeat, Walking on Air and Legendary Lovers. The other 2 aren't even in the same league. It's honestly too close to call. Both Teenage Dream tracks could've been big hits, while WAO and LL should've been released in the place of Birthday and HIGWD.

Either Walking on Air or Legendary Lovers. Both should have been released in place of Birthday and This Is How We Do. Spiritual is one of my favorites on Prism, but I wouldn't call it a missed opportunity. It could have been released as the sixth single, maybe. Nothing other than WOA and LL would've been a big hit.
Hummingbird Heartbeat and Peacock could have been hits as well, but not bigger than the eight singles that were released.

Peacock would have been the biggest hit of the choices, but the Teenage Dream era didn't really need saving. I voted for Walking On Air, which was the saving grace of PRISM for me and would have been a much better single choice than Unconditionally, This is How We Do, or Birthday.

"Walking On Air" was far better than some of the actual singles released from the PRISM album and may have performed better than them. And given the 90s House production, it would have been one of the earliest singles sent to radio and would have been considered a trendsetting single as bringing back that sound.

"Hummingbird Heartbeat" would have been better than "Part of Me" and "Wide Awake" so I voted that. It's also my favorite of these songs.

Legendary Lovers followed closely by Walking On Air. Both #1 contenders.

LoL at the hate for "This Is How We Do" I liked that song and thought it could have done a little better. I liked "Walking On Air" more but I don't think "This Is How We Do" was all that bad. However I did get burned out from it kind of quickly at the time.

WOA was a possible #1 if released after DH, though Hummingbird Heartbeat totally should've been a single too. I would've preferred it over Part of Me.

Replace Birthday with Walking On Air and replace This Is How We Do with Legendary Lovers and the era would've ended much better than it did.
As much as I would have loved Peacock to be a single, the Teenage Dream era was perfectly executed and I wouldn't wanna mess with how well everything went

Voted for "Walking On Air", but except for "Spiritual" I think all songs had hit potential. "Peacock" I'm not too sure about because I feel like radio may not have treated it so well...
I feel like "If You Can Afford Me" is underrated but idk...

Forever PEACOCK.
So glad Hummingbird Heartbeat isn't running away with this, so overrated.

"Peacock" was an easy number one and would have garnered her a huge pop culture moment. "Walking On Air" is second. The other four would have flopped.

Legendary Lovers (though Peacock and Hummingbird Heartbeat deserve honorable mentions). I think it could have been massive if it were pushed instead of Birthday.
