"I loved JJJ and I love "Break On Me." I'm hearing it on radio already and it sounds like classic Keith Urban. The thing with his ballad type songs, I can't imagine any other artists singing it with as much emotion and conviction as Keith does. "
I totally agree KUFAN! IMO...nobody sings a ballad as good as Keith.

An extraordinary song from an extraordinary artist who continues to make some of the VERY best music of his career, and this is certainly a song which would have been right at home on his wonderful 'Be Here' CD.
This will definitely be his next #1 single, and a multi-week run at the top would be awesome!
2015 has been a great year for him and a spot among the ten most-played artists of the year at Mediabase would appear to be a mortal lock.

where the hell is the album though :( The album wasn't finished when JJJ was released and my feeling is that the official album announcement will be coming shortly, especially considering "Break On Me" was released to radio.

I know it wasn't finished then, and I think it is pretty dumb to have 2 singles out with no album announcement. And I highly doubt there is any chance of it coming this year...

The album isn't expected this year (it was never expected this year). My guess is that they will release it during the winter, closer to when "Break On Me" peaks at radio. I'm guessing a late January or February release for the album.

I actually do not think of Keith as a strong vocalist (effective, yes - can be, but really a "singer" - debatable).
But this is a really good song for him, I liked it a lot on first hearing and went off pretty quick to buy my copy.

A new CD from Keith Urban is always welcome, and I'm looking forward to buying it the day it's released, having done so for Don Henley, King George, and Carrie, and on track to do the same with the new CDs from Tim and the always-wonderful Sara Bareilles a week from Friday

I'm really digging this and it's been a good while since I last enjoyed anything by Keith this much. There's something familiar about this one, I guess it reminds me a bit of his earlier work... Can't really put my finger on it, but I definitely like it!

Little off topic but have y'all see the news about Keith having the new exhibit at the Hall of Fame? Great news for him and very happy. One step closer to becoming a member. Woohoo!! Hoping to be there for opening day!! Looks like a debut of #49!

Looks like a debut of #49! There will be two recurrents this Sunday on MB ("Fly", "Lose My Mind"), so that means Keith is essentially at #47. My guess is that "Break On Me" will end up debuting somewhere between #41 and #43. It's hard to guess an exact position since the singles that are occupying the 40's are very close together in total MB points, right now.

It looks like "Break On Me" made its MB top 50 debut this week, at #36.

I would hope to hear the downright wonderful 'Better Life' right after this on CT40 this weekend since that dynamite' tune was in the middle of a 6-week rampage atop the R&R/Mediabase chart exactly ten years ago.

What's with the redundant period in the title? Are people listening to a lot of fun. lately?
"Too much fun., what's that mean?"

I think they were trying to make a statement with the art which was followed by some. But the label MPE didn't have a period after "me" so I'm assuming it was an error that'll be corrected.

I noticed the period some places. Mediabase had it (I think) but now it's gone. Billboard still had it in the most recent issue, which I imagine is suprising to few.

I love the relaxed feel of this song. Lyrics aren't amazing but KU sings the hell out of them as he usually does. The only distracting part to me is the "ooh ooh ah"s, which sound like Keith pitch-shifted himself downward. I noticed that on the BGVs of "We Were Us" too.

SO awesome. I'll honestly probably go another time or two before it's all said and done with, lol!

I'm going to see this if at all possible. I heard Keith say, as a boy performing, his Dad made all his clothes. I thought that was amazing.
