I hadn't been following the progress as of late. On Billboard's Feb. 13 Adult R&B chart, it moved 4-2*, with 1,476 spins (+154), and an audience of 10.815m (No. 1).

Officially hits No. 1 on Billboard's Adult R&B chart, with 1,577 spins (+101), with an audience of 10.625 million (No. 1). First #1 from a Caucasian woman since Teena Marie's "Still In Love" in 2004 (and second, overall I think as this chart started in '93-94, I think).

The Urban AC audience couldn't even resist the force that is Adele Atkins, even if the track itself isn't the most urban-sounding.
Some of it, too, is that there hasn't been a fresh, new contender for No. 1 in eons the previous three No. 1s monopolized the top of the chart for some time).

When I was traveling a couple of weeks ago, I heard a different mix of "Hello" on an UAC St. Louis station - it had more reverb to create a deeper sounding track. Anyone aware if this version is 'official' or just local stations mixing it for audience. (Oh, and I liked that version.)
