Week #44: Dated August 28, 2016
#1 Song: This week Sara Evans makes history, as she flies up the chart to #1, becoming the first song to ever spend their first week in the top 10 at #1. George Strait hangs on behind her, but Celine Dion gets pushed back by the slowly-falling Kelsea Ballerini. Martina McBride remains on the chart and rounds out the top 5, but it looks likely to be her final week. Reba and Trisha are forced to stay in the same place, while Florida Georgia Line zoom past the falling Maddie & Tae and the stuck Craig Campbell to land at #8. Brothers Osborne continue to fall this week, landing at #17, which is quite far from their peak of #9 a couple weeks ago. But their fall allows several songs in the teens to have good updates. Cassadee Pope in particular leaps ahead of Easton Corbin and Joe Nichols as she gains 4 positions and sets her sights on the top 10. Brad Paisley passes Craig Morgan and keeps him at #19. Maren Morris enters the top 20. Just outside of the top 20, Sara Evans has another hit on her hands with "Infinite Love". "Just Around The Corner" sits right there as well, proving that Martina McBride does not have to lose any sleep over the inevitable recurrence of "Reckless". Zac Brown Band, however, have every reason to worry, as "Castaway" decides to give up the ghost, throw in the towel, or any other such idiom, without even making the top 20. This is quite a step down from their huge #1 smash earlier in the year, "Beautiful Drug". High Valley is the only new entry to the top 30 this week. Inside the top 40, Dierks Bentley continues to fall and Blake Shelton goes recurrent. Jerrod Niemann/Lee Brice lose ground as well, falling out of the top 40. All this downward movement allows Parmalee to have a super strong week, and also makes room for Eli Young Band, LANco, Tim McGraw, and Alan Jackson to all make the top 40. Deeper on the chart, Toby Keith manages to sneak back ahead of Lauren Alaina. Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean are the two artists who make their grand debuts this week. Falling Off:
Carrie Underwood - “Church Bells” - Peak: 1 (1 week) - Weeks On: 21 Blake Shelton - “She’s Got A Way With Words” - Peak: 30 - Weeks On: 10 New Entries:
Carrie Underwood - "Dirty Laundry" - Debut: 49 Jason Aldean - "A Little More Summertime" - Debut: 50 New Certifications:
Maddie & Tae - “Sierra” (Platinum) Brothers Osborne - “21 Summer” (Platinum) Cassadee Pope - “Summer” (Gold) Easton Corbin - “Are You With Me (Gold) Joe Nichols - “Undone” (Gold) Zac Brown Band - “Castaway” (Gold) Top 20 Favorites:
1) Circles - Jana Kramer 2) Peter Pan - Kelsea Ballerini 3) Hometown Girl - Josh Turner 4) Long Live Tonight - LANco 5) 80s Mercedes - Maren Morris 6) Sober Saturday Night - Chris Young ft. Vince Gill 7) Are You With Me - Easton Corbin 8) Saltwater Gospel - Eli Young Band 9) Setting The World On Fire - Kenny Chesney ft. P!nk 10) Song For Another Time - Old Dominion 11) Vice - Miranda Lambert 12) Make You Mine - High Valley 13) Blue Ain’t Your Color - Keith Urban 14) Holdin’ Her - Chris Janson 15) There’s A Girl - Trent Harmon 16) Lipstick - Runaway June 17) Love Triangle - RaeLynn 18) American Country Love Song - Jake Owen 19) Outskirts Of Heaven - Craig Campbell 20) Everybody We Know Does - Chase Rice .indulgecountry , Daryl the Beryl , sabre14 , someguy , Zeebz , gardyfan , bigfan101 , trebor , Kanenrá:ke , raylatch98 , Sean , sbp17 , castleoblivion26 , fearlessarrow , @jakelmmrs44 , mrck , @nickv1025 , codyj100 , trustypepper , chicken077 , stonemc06 , Fan Voted Chart , d3vin44

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Yes, yes, yes! Sara Evans with that epic move to #1! I'm speechless. SURPRISE!!!!!! ;) Wow Sara Evans jumped all the way to #1 from #11 :o Nice to see Maren Morris in the top 20 as well! Haha yeah, that's the beauty of having a chart based on arbitrary whims. I decided it was time to mix things up and surprise y'all ;) And yes, Maren's song is absolute fire, so look for it to do much better than top 20 when all is said and done!!!

So Sara Evans hitting #1 with "Sweet Spot" this week is actually just the beginning of a huge week for her. If anyone remembers from the Upcoming Concerts thread, I was supposed to see her live in July, but she rescheduled due to illness. The reschedule date is this coming Sunday! So after months upon months of waiting, I am FINALLY going to see Sara this weekend!!! Accordingly, I have ranked all of her singles from least-favorite to favorite, and I will be counting down every day leading up to the concert. Without further ado, let Sara Evans Week commence!!!!!!
28) You'll Always Be My Baby
I hate to rank this song so low, because it has such an awesome music video. But unfortunately this song has not held up well for me at all. It is basically in the same camp for me as George Strait's "The Breath You Take". It's a good song, but it was not among even the top half of the album for me, and then after I had listened to the album so much I was already tired of this song, it got released as a single... Hearing it everyday on radio completely killed it for me. Especially since I would have loved to see "New Hometown", "Roll Me Back In Time", "Bible Song", "The Secrets That We Keep", and "Missing Missouri" all get released as singles... This was essentially a wasted spot. Thank goodness it did well for her, so it wasn't a total loss.
27) True Lies
I do like this song! But let's be honest, her debut single does not hold up very well in the face of the rest of her discography. Her debut album sounds so outdated compared to everything else, but I do still really like almost every song on it. As a lead single, however, I am not sure that this was the most memorable or revolutionary choice, so I am not surprised that this song did not end up being her breakthrough. It is mostly a testament to the overall strength of her singles though that this song is so close to the bottom.
26) Some Things Never Change
Another song that is just good in a discography full of awesomeness. I do enjoy this one well enough, but there is just something that always felt missing to me. I would have much rather had "Love You With All My Heart" be the second single that goes top 30 and this one be the one that doesn't chart. (Well, in a perfect world they both would have been top 10, but whatevs.) Overall I think the production holds this song back, and the melody doesn't do much for me despite Sara's vocal performance being as strong as ever. Those criticisms aside, I don't actually dislike the song, I just don't see anything to love about it, which is what puts it towards the back of her singles list for me.
Now, I won't tag everyone, but I will tag some people who I think may be especially interested since Sara is involved :) .indulgecountry, sabre14, someguy, bigfan101, Kanenrá:ke, Sean , sbp17, fearlessarrow, codyj100, trustypepper, d3vin44
If anyone else sees this and wants to be tagged, let me know :)
Happy Sara Evans week, everybody!!! #25-21 coming tomorrow

"You'll Always Be My Baby" being dead last almost made not want to like that post </3 ... but I did anyway because yasssssss I'm so excited for this special treat of a Sara Evans countdown! ![](http://i.imgur.com/2smy76v.gif) I'm glad the rescheduled show is coming up soon so you'll get to enjoy that, too. I'm looking into buying tickets tomorrow with a friend to possibly see her here in Kansas in October. <33

With such a strong top 20ish, there really isn't much margin for error before a song gets sent towards the bottom! And oh my goodness, I hope you get to see her in October!!! You should totally rank her singles before you go to see her ![:d](http://images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif) I would be very curious to compare our lists! Lol out of curiosity, what would you have put in last place?

I just know that "Baby" gets shit on a lot so I felt like saying something. ;) I've been wanting to do a list of my own for awhile now but I've never gotten around to it. I think when I finally do it though it'll be overall songs, not just singles, though. The single I would've put in last place would be "Shame About That," but again I still like the song a lot as I do all her music. I do, too! I hope my friend and I can get tickets together! It would be so much fun to see her again even though I just saw her two months ago, lol.

There would be like 75 songs that were all vying for the top spot! Lol but that does sound like a really good/cool idea. Now I'm intrigued. Maybe I'll challenge myself to start working on an overall list once I'm done with the singles :) Ah yes, "Shame About That" definitely is a worthy choice for last place... It would be so much better if it didn't sound like cheesy circus/carousel music ![](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0244.gif) It is catchy as hell though, so at least it has that going for it. But yeah, that's barely enough to overcome its shortcomings... Let us know if you get tickets!

Great chart! What a fantastic jump for Sara. I have to say it's nice for "Church Bells" to exit and free up space. Loving that "Dirty Laundry" has been so quick to debut on your chart. And, I honestly don't mind seeing Blake's single leave. It never really sparked with me and this way, we have more chart space for the newest single releases.
Nice move with Terri and debuting "Feeling Pretty Good Right Now." I always felt like that song was single material. It's a shame they never went further in terms of official singles for that era.

Haha surely you don't dislike "Church Bells"??! I agree that it is nice to finally have some movement in my top 10 though :) I feel like I've had the same songs fighting it out in the top 5 for like the entire summer. Normally Blake is an artist who would have done better for me, but he is 0 for 2 this era for me. When trying to decide which songs to pull for the sake of chart space, his was definitely an easy target! Same thing with Dierks, who is looking likely to leave next week... I cannot believe how weak this era has been from him so far, considering how many multi-week #1s he would have gotten out of Riser had my chart existed then! And yes, I figured you would appreciate the love for Terri :) FPGRN is one of the best songs left on the Some Songs album, and I just couldn't help myself. She's one of those artists that I have a really hard time seeing them do nothing (in terms of releasing music right now), so I want to give them all the success I can! Lol

25) Shame About That As I said to Indulge yesterday, this song is catchy as hell, but it just sounds SOOOO out of place with its cheesy/circusy production. This is literally the one Sara Evans song I am embarrassed to play in front of my college friends who dislike country music but grew to enjoy Sara and Martina because of me. This song would singlehandedly undo all of my hard work to get them to admit that they like Sara! Lol that being said, I personally enjoy this song, I just wish it had better production. I am not even slightly shocked that this song missed the top 40. 24) My Heart Can't Tell You No We are already at the point where it literally pains me to place certain songs so low in the countdown... I really enjoy this song, but I will admit that I felt a little resentment towards it as a single because it basically torpedoed her comeback momentum. Plus I really wanted "Alone" to get a release, and Sara had promised it would be the 3rd single back when the album came out. Ideally "Anywhere" would have been 2nd, followed by "Alone", and then this song would have remained an album track. I thought from the get-go that it would be a bad idea to release a cover song as a single after numerous people had struggled with covers in recent years (see Reba "If I Were A Boy", Martina "I Just Call You Mine", etc.) Oh well, I enjoy this song, but the fact that it torpedoed her comeback helps me place it at #24 on the countdown. Edited to add: I am absolutely in love with this music video though. The role Sara plays is so interesting. The ending feels rather abrupt, but that is probably why there is a version with an alternate ending, lol. Edited again to add: At least I thought there was an alternate ending! Am I going crazy??? I can't find anything on Youtube! 23) Perfect This song was the first time I really knew about and paid specific attention to Sara Evans (here comes the 2003 nostalgia we talk about so much around here!). Like, I heard them talk about her on the radio when "Greyhound Bus" was charting, and when they said it I recognized her name and could vaguely pin it to "I Could Not Ask For More" as well. But by the time "Perfect" came out I had discovered CMT and was constantly watching it, and of course this is the song I always saw. I have seen this music video SO MANY TIMES!! And of course I bought the album on the strength of this song, making Restless my first Sara Evans album. Of course, the entire album is so F****** good that "Perfect" ended up being one of my least favorite songs on it ![](http://images.proboards.com/tongue.gif) So through the years I have built up a little bit of resentment towards it because songs like "Rocking Horse", "Niagara", "Restless", "I Give In", "To Be Happy", and "Need To Be Next To You" all remained album tracks despite being better songs overall. But like I said, it's just a little resentment. This song is such a jam!! I just happen to love so many of her hits that this one gets shoved just outside the top 20. 22) Three Chords And The Truth The best single from Sara's debut album, by a mile!!! I love the lyrics and the melody of this song, especially the "over yooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuu" part at the end of the choruses. Of course the production is what holds this one back. It doesn't sound cheesy a la "Shame About That", it just sounds old. I have a feeling if she rerecorded this one it would be absolutely KILLER! It does seem to be a Sara Evans classic, despite not even making the top 40. Heck, I even heard this on the radio once 6 or 7 years ago! I just can't bring myself to rank it any higher considering the strength of the gems that lie ahead on the countdown... 21) Feels Just Like A Love Song This song is great. I do love it, with the only problem being that the chorus is slightly overproduced. Not to the extent that I do not like it, but to the extent that I felt people who typically complain about overproduction would probably complain about it. That being said, I thought this was a great song when it came out, and I actually thought it was well on its way to becoming a hit because I heard it several times in the small window of time that it was on radio. So I do wish the label hadn't pulled this one, but in hindsight "A Little Bit Stronger" ended up being like the most perfect comeback single of all time, so it is probably a good thing for her career that this song was pulled before the majority of the public knew she was trying to make a comeback. .indulgecountry , sabre14 , someguy , bigfan101 , Kanenrá:ke , Sean , sbp17 , fearlessarrow , codyj100 , trustypepper , d3vin44 , and chicken077 (I know you don't like much country, but you typically enjoy most chart-related things, so I thought I would tag you so you can see what I am doing :) )

20) Low I absolutely love the production of this song. The mix of bluegrass and traditional country is just so beautiful and perfect. And it is catchy too! I don't really have an explanation for why this failed on the charts other than it being a soundtrack single that must not have been pushed very hard... I wish this had been able to make one of her albums! Once again, the fact that this is in the back half of her singles for me is a testament to how strong her singles are overall, rather than anything against the song itself. I especially love the bridge of this song, and the pose she hits while singing it in the music video. 19) Born To Fly I know, I am definitely going to get skewered for placing this song outside the top 15... There is no denying that it is a Sara Evans classic! However, I must admit that through the years I have overplayed this to the point that I now skip it sometimes when I am listening to the album... Don't sue me! ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) Also, the fact that the musical outro is so long has always turned me off with this song. Sometimes I love outros, and sometimes they rub me the wrong way, and this is one where it rubs me the wrong way for some reason. That being said, I absolutely love the dobro solo in this song, as well as the way her voice sounds on the soft part of the 3rd chorus. Simply heavenly! 18) Anywhere This song should have definitely been the 2nd single on the Stronger album. It has everything! Strong lyrics, a catchy melody, and of course lots of great opportunities to hear both Sara's low and high range. This is such a windows-down summer driving song! I love the production and the vocals are top notch. Definitely deserved much better treatment on the charts :( Coming off of the strength of "A Little Bit Stronger", I honestly think this song would have been huge, and Sara might have seen a much more successful and lasting comeback. 17) Coalmine This is yet another song that deserved to do way better on the charts. This song demonstrates a whole new side of Sara from what radio had really seen before, and it is a side I wish she would revisit more. This song is both racy and fun, which can be a tough balance to strike. Her band and vocals are both on point. That being said, I sometimes wish this had not been a single, because it killed a lot of her momentum. Of course she had no way of predicting that the mining disaster would happen, but it really ended up being a lose-lose for her. However, we can always take pride in the fact that this was her current single when she won her female vocalist award at the ACMs!! 16) Backseat Of A Greyhound Bus This song is another healthy dose of 2003 nostalgia! It was a hit right before I discovered Sara Evans, although I do still remember hearing it. One of her very best story songs!! I totally wish it had done better on the charts than it did... Did radio really have a reason to not play this? And an even better question is, did she really have a good reason to not release a music video for this? (I mean, peaking in the top 20 is definitely strong enough for a video, plus this was the lead single!) I love the lyrics most of all. My favorite part of the song, however, comes during the outro at approximately 4:35 when the song suddenly becomes double-time! Such a smooth transition, and it totally works for the song and helps it end strongly! .indulgecountry , sabre14 , someguy , bigfan101 , Kanenrá:ke , Sean , sbp17 , fearlessarrow , codyj100 , trustypepper , d3vin44 , chicken077

This got me interested in listening to some of Sara's songs! And they're really good so far :) And this is an awesome idea! I have never systematically ranked the singles from an artist before, and I'm thinking of doing it sometime when I have time! ![:d](http://images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif)

I'm loving this bboat11 . Keep 'em coming! :) Yay!! ![:d](http://images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif) I am so glad to hear this! I am honestly having trouble waiting to do one batch per day ![](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0244.gif) Haha so I will definitely keep 'em coming! Haha that was a pretty close race! They're both great! :'( I can't even be sad though because all of her singles are basically flawless. You can say that again :) This got me interested in listening to some of Sara's songs! And they're really good so far :) And this is an awesome idea! I have never systematically ranked the singles from an artist before, and I'm thinking of doing it sometime when I have time! This honestly makes me super happy to hear :) Sara is an artist who you may have noticed has a lot of styles, ranging from super traditional to super poppy. (Like you can totally see that from last night with "Three Chords And The Truth" followed by "Feels Just Like A Love Song".) So I think you will find some things to like in her catalog regardless of what your preferences are :) And if you have liked the stuff you have heard so far, definitely keep listening, because there are some MAJOR gems ahead

15) Suds In The Bucket Here it is: Sara's most instantly-recognizable hit! This song is seriously SO GOOD. Like, "Suds" would be the #1 song for many other artists, so the fact that it kicks off the top 15 for Sara is simply astonishing. I love the vocal delivery, the instrumentation, the production, and the video. Everything is perfect. This song was definitely deserving of every ounce of success that it got. It verged on overplay when it was out, but now I am back to wishing I could hear music this good on the radio every day... Edited to add: I saw a really funny video once where she was explaining the process of making the music video for this song. She explained that she was pregnant again, and trying to hide it from the record label because she had JUST had a kid and she didn't want them to be mad at her because, you know, pregnancy can be hard on a career. So she never let them film her straight-on; she was always hiding behind something, or had her back to the camera. She also was super sick that day (morning sickness, probably), but they were on a tight schedule, so she had to just fight through it and do the filming anyway. So she had to keep throwing up and stuff in between shots. Finally, she had a zit or something that they simply could not get rid of, so she finally told the makeup crew to just give her a beauty mark. Which is how she ended up having a random mole on her upper lip for this music video. The more you know :) 14) I Keep Looking I always consider this to be one of her most forgotten hits. I mean, this hit the top 5!! But nobody ever talks about it, and you certainly NEVER hear it on the radio. But of course, it was preceded in the Born To Fly era by such gems as the title track and "I Could Not Ask For More", which undoubtedly eclipsed the subsequent singles from the album in terms of popularity. Either way, I love this song. I love the "bomp bomp" rhythm of the lead guitar on beats 1 and 2 throughout the entire song. This song is just such a strong uptempo; it is awesome for driving on a sunny day with the windows down (similar to "Anywhere"). Side note: I also think it is really cute how she integrated her and her baby laughing in the intro to this song. 13) Tonight Oh the irony! The one single off of Restless that I think never should have been a single also ends up placing the highest from that album on my list! While "Tonight" never should have been a single, it is not for a lack of quality. Everything about this song is SEXY, from the lyrics to the vocal performance, which is one of the best of Sara's career. It simply was not a great fit for radio, and should not have been released while songs like "Rocking Horse" and "Niagara" sat unreleased. I am super shocked though that this didn't even manage to make the top 40 considering that it came on the heels of "Suds in the Bucket", when Sara seemed to have more momentum than at any other point in her career... Oh well, I still love everything about this song, and can forgive Sara and RCA for releasing it as a single because it is just so darn good :) 12) Fool, I'm A Woman This song, despite not being a big hit, is one of my favorite songs to jam to on road trips. I love the way her voice sounds on the high parts, and the lyrics are also pretty funny while still being both serious and relatable. Throw in the fact that Martina McBride is doing background vocals, and this song gets some MAJOR brownie points! Lol! I'm not sure why this song missed out on top 30 despite being so catchy and coming off of the momentum of her first #1 hit, "No Place That Far", but I guess her radio career is filled with many mysteries of that ilk ![](http://images.proboards.com/tongue.gif) 11) Put My Heart Down And just missing out on the top 10 is Sara's newest single. This song is nothing short of amazing, and the fact that it performed so abysmally on the charts is absolutely ludicrous. The lyrics are freaking unbelievable in the second verse. Specifically the "So pack up all your things. Just leave some air to breathe. A million toxic tears fallin' like rain 'round here" part. Throw in the chorus melody that gets stuck in your head for days, and there is absolutely no excuse for this song flopping. I questioned RCA a lot throughout Sara's tenure with them, but the way this song was treated was one of the few things that actually made me MAD. It has #1 hit written all over it. .indulgecountry , sabre14 , someguy , bigfan101 , Kanenrá:ke , Sean , sbp17 , fearlessarrow , codyj100 , trustypepper , d3vin44 , chicken077 So now that the top 10 is all that remains, does anybody feel brave enough to make predictions about my top 5? ;)

I think part of why "I Keep Looking" was forgotten is that it didn't have a music video; it's her only big hit to not have one (I guess "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" doesn't either but it wasn't as big). I'd probably like the song more if it had a great video to go with it... but as it stands now, it's definitely near the bottom of her singles for me. I'm a little bummed that she still performs that one in concert but not "No Place That Far" or "Cheatin'". :(
YAS @ you loving "Tonight"! I agree with everything you said. Fantastic song and BEAUTIFUL vocal... but it had no business being a single when she could've had back-to-back #1s with "Rockin' Horse," imo (which would've turned into 3 with her next lead single, too). :'(

"I Keep Looking's" a jam. Great melody, guitar and vocals. It was just as successful as many of Sara's singles but yeah, it's unfortunate it has been overshadowed by her other top 10 singles.

Let the top 10 begin! 10) Slow Me Down This is definitely one of Sara's most interesting singles. The pizzicato strings in the intro and instrumental transitions are nothing short of haunting. I mean, I had heard it done before in orchestras, but I had never heard anything like it before in country music, and the different context just makes it SUPER cool! I also love how short and simple yet effective the verses are, followed by the huge chorus (which is only slightly overproduced). I also love Sara's head-voice runs on the hook in the 1st and 3rd choruses. Basically let's just say this song is perfect and should have been able to do much better than top 20. 9) Cheatin' There's nothing like a stone-cold cheating/revenge song. Ladies and gentlemen, country music doesn't get much better than this. And to make it even better, this song is super funny! I love the ways that the lyrics show that the narrator totally got the better end of the deal despite the scurrilous no-good boyfriend being the one who cheated. This song also showcases Sara's low and high ranges extremely well. Everything is perfect from the melody to the background vocals. This neo-traditional style is by far my favorite Sara Evans sound, and I really wish she would showcase it more. I also wish she had more songs like this that utilize her sly humor, because she is without a doubt one of the funniest artists in the business. 8) Cryin' Game "Cryin' Game" is one of Sara's most underrated singles. The groove of the hook is super catchy. "Ain't gonna play the cryin' game no more, ain't gonna play the cryin' game no more." It's just so simple yet so effective. The tempo of this song is just right, and the instrumentation is also so deliciously throwback '90s but without sounding outdated, in my opinion. The fact that this song flopped on the charts is absolutely baffling to me, because I love everything about it. The music video is a little weird, but who doesn't have a weird video or two in their early career. 7) No Place That Far I am so glad that this was a #1 single for Sara. This song is perfect. Her vocal is top-notch, and the production is stellar. I adore the piano-driven verses followed by the steel-driven choruses. Throw in the twin fiddle solo in the middle which absolutely SHREDS, leading right into a key-change for the 3rd chorus, and this song has just about everything! Vince Gill was a perfect choice for background vocals as well. The No Place That Far album has got to be one of the most baffling of Sara's career in terms of radio success though. First, a catchy uptempo "Cryin' Game" flops. Then a wailing ballad like this goes #1. And then, coming off of the momentum from this song, the catchy uptempo followup "Fool, I'm A Woman" also flops! Seriously country radio, your lack of sense baffles me. 6) As If This is another song that should have done much better than it did. Her Greatest Hits album was super successful, but the new singles just kinda struggled. And you could argue that the production of this song is not everyone's cup of tea, but I think regardless of that it is just an all-around great song. The chorus is the definition of an earworm. The verses are pretty darn effective too! I particularly enjoy the line "I love the way you wear those worn-out blue jeans, walkin' all around in the big sunshine." This song is a perfect driving jam for me. I definitely wish Sara would release songs like this more often. I also wish that radio would play them into top 10 rather than shutting the door at #11. But oh well, this song is a multi-week #1 in my book :) The music video is super funny as well! Definitely one of Sara's more creative ideas. .indulgecountry, sabre14, someguy, bigfan101, Kanenrá:ke, Sean, sbp17, fearlessarrow, codyj100, trustypepper, d3vin44, chicken077

"As If" should've been a #1 hit. It's a damn crime it missed the Top 10 on BB. :'(

If "As If" had been released 5 years after it was it probably would reached the top 5; RCA didn't think it was worth it to keep it alive past the end of 2007.

"As If" should have been the followup to "A Little Bit Stronger"!! It's brilliant! ![:d](http://images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif) That would have changed the entire trajectory of her comeback, and she probably would be like Carrie Underwood famous right now!! Lol jk. But I can dream, right...
